The best Mexican restaurant ...period...I've had Mexican in Pooler where it's cooler, and in Savannah, but this Mexican Restaurant in Port Wentworth is the best. The food is seasoned to perfection. The servers are all professional and very kind people! I got an entree and Guac for $21...very reasonable

Food is really good. But when we walked in dude was on his phone. Customer service after that was top notch. But it looked kinda disrespectful to us. Its not the best first impression.

This our go to for Mexican food. The salsa is made in house and it's amazing. They have a good happy hour and food specials thru out the week. The staff is friendly and has very little turn over. My husband and I really enjoy going here.

Traveling from Florida back to NY we stayed at Fairfield down the road. We looked on Maps for a place to eat and Agavesvaves looked fine. On this rainy Sunday night in March the parking lot only had a few other cars in it. Walking in it was mostly empty. The host put in a booth and the server came over to give us menus and asked if we knew what we wanted. My guess is they have lots of regulars here.
We ordered two drinks; one Casamigos on the rocks and I had their Premium Fresh Margarita (hand shaken and made with your choice of premium tequila (I had Casamigos) and flavors (I had plain). We also ordered two Mineragua (sparkling water).
Server Diana was a delight. She was friendly, efficient and helpful. My wife ordered the three tacos (one veggie and two chicken) Diana told her how delicious the veggie tacos are so she changed to two veggies and one chicken taco. She was right. The veggie tacos were outstanding. The best veggie tacos I’ve ever tasted. Diana also suggested the Flan for dessert (which we didn’t plan to have) and again she was right.
I had the vegetarian #3 which is a bean burrito, bean taco and cheese quesadilla. We also got a large order of guacamole.
Every part of our meal was great. We will now put Agave's on our list of places to eat when on 95. We hope Diana will be working the next time we are there.
Vegetarian options: The vegetable tacos were not just onion and peppers but included cauliflower and carrots. For vegans there was no cheese.
