There was a Roach sticky trap under the soda machine with Dead roaches on it ? I let them know we didn't wanna see that while eating and he removed it ? don't think I will eat there again.

This was my first time ordering from Hanami's and unfortunately the food was very disappointing. I ordered Habachi Steak and Shrimp w/Xtra shrimp, Habachi chicken and steak w/Xtra steak, sushi roll and fried pork dumplings. There were no Xtra shrimp, the shrimp was overcooked/rubbery, the steak was tough, grisly and had no flavor (it tasted like a cheap tough cut of meat that had no seasoning, the dumplings were tiny and hard, tasted like the frozen dumplings you get from the grocery store. The only thing that was good is the rice and sushi roll. Prices were higher than other Japanese restaurants. This was a total waste of money, I would have returned it but we were in the middle of a bad storm and I did not want to go back out. The Japanese restaurant down the road in the Food Lion shopping center is so much better.

My favorite is the bento box and their shrimp sauce is the best I have had in a long time. Would recommend!
