Linear Park Cafe

The owner of this establishment is one of the most unfriendliest individuals I've ever experienced in my life. I've done business with him many times and he never greets you, doesn't smile, no pleasantries what so ever.

But judging by other comments, it appears his preference is his caucasian customers. So now it all makes sense.

Finally a cafe off Silver Comet 💫! Came 🚲 hungry, glad to run across the cafe. Good selection of food snacks and drinks!

My friend and I came in here last week while on a bike ride on the Silver Comet Trail.

We noticed this little cafe and ice cream shop while riding and we decided to stop and see what they had to eat, and we’re glad we did.

First of all the owner/manager Kevin is a great guy! Very friendly, very professional and very efficient.

We decided to order a slaw dog for my friend, and chili burger for me and some fries to share. Man I gotta tell you my chili burger with mustard and onions was fantastic! It’s a 1/4lb merger patty that’s cooked to perfection, nice and juicy, and the chili topping was delicious!

My friends slaw dog was perfect she said and the dog was good quality and the slaw was a great addition to the dog. I’ll have to try the chili-slaw dog next time.

Another great surprise were the French fries; they were cooked to a crunchy perfection and although they may have been frozen they were real potato fries, large and fried to the exact perfection!

They also have BBQ, shrimp, ice creams, cookies, all kinds of stuff! I never expected to find such a great little cafe right on the Silver Comet Trail.

Kevin says they’ve been there 7 years so apparently they’re there to stay.

I’m glad to know about this place this will be my new stop along the trail when I’m riding.

Haven't seen this place open in months on any day of the week.

Forgot to bring food on a long bike ride and this place was a godsend

The burgers are too salty. And the cook the black man. He has a chip on his shoulder. Lord forbid if you have to ask a question about the food that he is going to prepare. Just letting you know in advance. I refuse to spend my money where I can’t ask a simple question about what you are about to serve me and my family. No and thank you.

The man made a 9yo cry for trying to take just one picnic table for his birthday party. I am so sad for everyone. Willing to spend money at the cafe, but he started yelling at everyone.
There is a 3 minute long video of him losing it. That is bad business. No person should be spoken to this way regardless.

I recently stopped at Linear Park Cafe after taking a walk on the Silver Comet Trail. It was a nice spot to rest and recharge, and I appreciated that there were restrooms behind the cafe. The staff were all friendly, and the cafe was very clean and organized. The food was just ok - it was the kind of food you might expect to get at a picnic. All in all, it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend it if you're looking for a rest stop off the trail.

My daughter's loved the BBQ chicken nachos. They also enjoyed the snoballs

Not only did they make room for our birthday celebration but let us borrow a folding table and a nice tablecloth, they provided flatware and were just the nicest loveliest people. Drinks were ice cold and snacks were great. Thanks so much!!

The Linear Park Cafe is great! It's there when I need it; on a hot day. Just 5 miles out the trail from Floyd Road Trailhead, it is a welcome retreat from my ride. Good snacks and lunches.
