I stepped outside my usual Starbucks routine and drove 25 minutes to Sangster’s Coffee Shop in Powder Springs. Worth it. The owner is from Jamaica, and you can feel his passion the moment you walk in. I watched him speak to every guest. I listened as that passion moved through the space—through the way he talked about coffee, the way he showed up for people. It wasn’t performance. It was genuine. The young woman at the register was just as welcoming. She walked me through the matcha options with care and clarity, which I appreciated. I went with matcha and oat milk with cinnamon. Ordered it twice because it was that good. The mugs they use for dine-in are house-made, which adds a thoughtful, personal touch. The pastries looked incredible, but I’m focused on losing fat and gaining muscle right now, so I passed. The space itself is inviting. Lots of outdoor seating, minimal but comfortable seating inside. Two window nooks and one square community table. Clean. Cozy. Intentional. I love the area. I love the atmosphere. I’ll be back.

The pastries here are good. My drinks have been really hit or miss. I've had issues with my order being made wrong a few times. I wish they'd invest in a better quality chai, it tastes like the powdered packets you get at the grocery store unfortunately. Also, they can't do any of their seasonal drinks iced which I find really strange. The barista didn't seem to know why either.
Everyone who works here is nice and I like the space even though it's small. Just wish they had better quality ingredients for their drinks.

This cafe is amazing! Beautiful atmosphere! Delicious pastries! Amazing coffee! Ash was so helpful and guided me through my order. I’ve recently cut the amount of sugar I consumed and was looking for a zero sugar/less sugary drink. Ash was so informative and guided me through what to order while respecting my diet restriction. I’ll definitely be returning!

Checked out this spot on a whim. Was immediately warmly welcomed in by the owner. It's Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee; and it's soooooooo delicious. I had a few patties and they were very tasty. The decor is homey and there's both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere was perfect for me to spend a few hours reading in the corner nook. The rest of the staff that I met were equally as warm and friendly. I'll definitely be adding this spot as one of my favourites and I'll be a regular visitor for sure (•‿•)

I ordered an Iced Raspberry Latte & Iced Matcha Raspberry Lavender Lemonade paired with the Chicken Salad Croissant and hash browns. 10/10 Highly Recommend!! S/O to the baristas Kia and Amari!
