I went to this place yesterday. I walked in and thought it was a pretty neat looking place. It had just opened so there weren’t a lot of customers yesterday. One of the workers walked passed never greeted me or acknowledge me. Unfortunately, this was the same person who was serving the bar. When it was my turn to order he just said “what do you want?” I greeted him and asked did he have anything close to a cider or something sweet all he said was no but didn’t recommend anything. He really made me feel unwelcome, but unfortunately, I was waiting for a date so I got my drink and headed outside. I love the patio!

Best brewery in town!
Best service & best hand crafted flavors.
All made in the house!

This is such a wonderful brewery. Every beer we tried was excellent from the ESB to the Hefe and their special SabroVospa(spelling?). Plus, they are family and dog friendly.

Nice and chill brewery. I like how the restaurant next door is connected through a door inside too. This is definitely going to be a regular place to drink and eat drink some beer.

I'm from Germany and went to the SGC restaurant next door with my colleagues. The food is also highly recommended (the fried catfish was amazing). Since the door to the brewery was open and the smells of a brewery greeted us, as a German, you can't resist, so we popped in. A nice, inviting atmosphere. You can practically look over the brewer's shoulder. They host game nights. There's a small Pac-Man machine and lots of other fun little games. There's a large selection of beer. However, you have to like some of the varieties to drink them a second time. Then you'll just have to try something else. The German beer on offer, however, doesn't compare to the originals. In my opinion, it's still far too hoppy, with more malt to make it more drinkable, but hey, that's complaining at the highest level. The Germans, with their 5,000 different beers, are crazy anyway.

I stop by here every time I'm in Atlanta because of the good food and the small brewery. Many of my colleagues also really enjoyed it there. Next time I come back from Germany, I'll bring the owner a six-pack of German beer, I promise! I highly recommend this place.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! Doug and Mark are so awesome!!! Downtown Powder Springs needed this gem! The beer tastes amazing, the staff is the best, and the place looks fantastic!! Dogs are allowed, there's scheduled live music, community events hosted by them, and trivia night is always a blast!! We're lucky to have Skint Chestnut!!

Made the short drive from Cartersville to check out Skint Chestnut. Great beer, and Mark is a cool dude. Will be going back soon.

Friendly atmosphere and bartender. Most places are ok, but lacking the good vibe this place brings.

Such a fun brewery! We had an open house at our listing close by and decided to stop afterwards. There was live music, great beer choices and a very nice staff. We also ate a lobster rool from the connected food place next door that was very tasty. We will definitely return when in the area!

My wife & myself actually stopped by next door for the SGC Chicken & Seafood, but we noticed the brewery was partnered with it. They had a doorway in between the two establishments that you could walk through. So, after ordering our food, we walked to the brewery because we both love beer. I purchased two 16-oz glasses of their strongest beers & we sat and enjoyed our food. The beer & the food were amazing & even the customer service was great. I started a tab, because I thought we would be able to drink more. But I was wrong, lol. We will be back to try more of their selection of beer.

We absolutely love Skint Chestnut. We live in Powder Springs and this has become our go-to spot. Doug and Mark, the owners, are wonderful. Events every week like cornhole and Trivia night on Thursdays is a great time!Highly recommended.
