The place was filthy, just like last time, I haven't eaten there in months because of it. This time there was literally a pile of food left on a table and scanning on Cross most tables they were also filthy not sure if they are understaffed or the staff don't care the staff members were sitting down and doing something for the back.

I don't get out much and I do not shop at a lot of places everyone else does I am extremely reserved. It's the only place I've been out so far this month to eat I think. Or maybe the second. But it's been a couple weeks.

I may have picked up a virus from here. Coxsackie virus to be specific.

Not sure if the coffee cup I used was technically clean. You never know what someone else has that you sit after.

This is one of two places that I have been within many weeks of time. Logic dictates

Fun place to stop...oldest restaurant in GA. Buffet for lunch...mostly seafood. The local hangout, for sure. If you prefer grilled shrimp, ask for it, they will cook up special and it's very good!

This is a nice place to eat. The dining room was clean and bright, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the food was good. And the price was reasonable, which is always a plus.
I had a western omelette with hash browns and a biscuit. No complaints.
Tab was well under $20, including a healthy tip which I thought the server thoroughly deserved.
I would definitely eat here again.

We stopped for lunch and noticed it was labeled oldest restaurant in GA. It was buffet type of place and the food was not the best. It was full with elderly clientele. Greens were canned, cornbread 🤢, fried chicken was dry. I dare not try the salad bar which was super small along with the rest of the buffet. I will not visit again.

It's a decent place with decent with reasonable meals and a good staff. Although, they should keep their silverware in a more organized location.

We were sat and ordered right away. Food came out quick. Food was delicious but the service was horrible. We sat waiting for about 2 minutes with no silverware to eat our food, All the while the 2 servers sat and was on their phones. They brought us silverware after i flagged one down, then a few moments later id hope they return to ask if i needed anything, they didnt. They just kept sitting and playing on their phones. I finally tracked one down to get more coffee and jelly for my toast. Then they sat again on their phones. I noticed a table of 4 next to us with the same problem. They had to get up to get their own silverware. Then i noticed another guest get up and went to 3 other tables to find himself some coffee cream. Then another gentleman joined them and even he sat for a while without getting service. The 2 ladies sat the entire time on their phones. I felt unwelcomed and for the first time in my life, i did NOT leave a tip. It wasnt busy at all and there wasnt any excuse you could give me to get this crappy service. Do better, Oh and 1 more thing, i wont be back. Its your loss not mine.

We stumbled across this little café on our way to Florida from Tennessee. We never take route 84, but we did today. The food, everything we ate was delicious, and the servers were so nice. We ate their lunch buffet with roasted chicken, greens, mac and cheese, green beans, corn bread, and the best fries green tomatoes we have ever tasted. Definitely recommend!

Breakfast looks unappetizing there and doesn’t taste much better, the buffet was bad when i went. Got chicken and dumplings to bring home and eat and found paper all in them and dumplings stained with ink. I feel nauseous after eating this and seeing the trash in it.

i recently visited the Royal Cafe at 304 E Screven St, in Quitman, GA. I was on my way through town and decided to stop at the Royal Cafe. I was greeted and my drink order of coffee was ordered. My server came back and I placed my breakfast order of scrambled eggs, grits, and a delicious biscuit toasted the way I enjoy it. Its a.vwry southern and comfy place. A good stop.

No one saw me come in the door, and it took a few minutes to notice me. Once the waitstaff saw the took. Are of me fast. Other than that, it was great, as always!
