I recommend asking if there is a large party going on before entering and if they prepared for it. I’ve never had a bad experience at Ray’s until tonight. There was a 45 minute wait for a table and I’m good with that because it’s not unusual on a Saturday night. My problem was with the additional hour plus it took to get our food after ordering. I went here a lot as a kid and I still go back now and the food is just as good. Cute environment inside the restaurant and even better outside. The dock is so beautiful and you can almost always spot a baby gator. Love this place and will always give them my business!
It was busy when we got there early at 5:pm.We were seated immediately. Our waitress was very good and efficient. It did take a while for our food. Approximately 30 minutes for the two of us. A guy in the bathroom told me he and his wife have been waiting an hour and a half for their food. They were seated in a different room than us.The one seafood player was priced very fairly and looked delicious on the plate. Unfortunately, the grits were too salty, but we didn't complain....
