I went to check out @sweet.sadie.mays restaurant. today for lunch. This food reminds me so much of my grandmothers cooking. When she opened the lid and I saw that hot water cornbread, I almost lost my mind... lol Everything was so good. As you can see from the pic, I had #meatloaf #candiedyams #macandcheese #hotwatercornbread I met the owner and she was really nice and down to earth. I would highly recommend this place. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, and I haven't even finished this plate yet... lol 🙃

Very welcoming. I ordered baked chicken over dressing, it was a $1 uncharged but very worth it in my opinion. I also got mac and cheese with some yams. The cornbread was on point as well. 10/10... I'll try more next time. This is good soul food

I go here more so for convenience due to location. I do feel they could improve in customer service. The hot water cornbread is very flaky and no form. The pork batter is also flaky. Again, if you're on the go and need something convenient, they'll do.
Owner Pam is the best. So loving, generous and auntie feeling. The food always the greatest. I’ll be back tomorrow for sone of those juicy and delicious sweet potatoes, cornbread and mac n cheese.
