I’ve live in this area 8 years! And Tookes is a never miss ! My fave is the pulled pork sandwich! I’m funny about baked beans but these never miss!!! And mister in the back is fine ? sooo good food, great southern hospitality and manners… and eyecandy! I’ll take it !!
OMG!!! Y'all, please don't let the outside fool you! My daughter and I stopped by to get dinner, trying something new. The service was pleasant. The cook/owner was there alone, but he handled it. We hadn’t visited this for a couple months. Unfortunately, we both that the food has dropped off considerably since our last visit. I had the combo plate. The chicken skin was tough and the chicken was dry. The sides (slaw and Mac n cheese) were even worse. I ended up eating the ribs and threw everything else away. My wife had the rib tips of which she said were tasteless. She also threw out half the meal. I really can’t explain what changed but I’m pretty sure I won’t...
