Omelette Cafe Rincon

This place used to be a fantastic spot with great tasting food and staff. Now? They've changed their wait staff as well as their cooks and it's just not the same. The food doesn't have that diner taste anymore and nothing feels particularly special. The prices have stayed about the same but the quality has gone down. The fries used to be some of the best fries I've had tasting slightly meaty and always hot, fresh, crispy yet tender. Now it's about the same as popping a frozen bag of fries into an air fryer and just barely heating them up. Such a disappointment.

Totally my fault, but make sure they're open before using their ordering service. I ordered at 3:26 on Sunday. They said to come get it at 3:36. We went there, and they had been closed since 3... but they still took my money, as if they were going to serve me. So... my fault, but maybe don't let people order/pay for food, that they can't recieve? The food is always good, so they still get 4 stars.

We were so hungry after a day of kayaking and the breakfast we got at 1:30 pm was so good. The waitress was excellent.

My breakfast burrito was inedible, the bacon was completely burnt and they still put it in there. Very disappointing.

Walked in to do a simple take out order and as the cashier was ringing up each item, I noticed a gratuity being added. Gratuity for what? I had no table side service. Someone rang my order and someone cooked it. Do they not pay staff regular wages?

I get the patty melt. It's not made from a frozen patty and it's seasoned well!!

1st time we tried this place for breakfast 😋. We didn't wait long & the place was packed. Very friendly people. We'll try lunch next time

Walked in at 2:33pm and they close at 3pm
The cook wouldn't take any more orders after 2:30 even tho the advertised hours are until 3pm. Won't be back.

This used to be my top restaurant for when I DoorDash. I would get the shrimp po' boy sandwich or the shrimp and fries until they went up on cost. They went from $16 to $23. Disappointed customer now.
