It's a great place with good people. If you like crab legs and shrimp, go on Tuesday.

The only complaint is that the boiled shrimp were way too big. They were too tough to eat. I have worked on shrimp boats earlier in my life and the dock would not give as much as the small ones. Even Bubba Gump would be hard to make any thing
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a famp

Tin Fin offers the best seafood in Effingham County! I have dined here on a few occasions and have always had an enjoyable experience. The coconut shrimp is definitely my favorite! However, every item on the menu is worth trying. If you are craving great quality seafood and don't feel like driving into Savannah, Tin Fin is definitely your best option!
They also have a great dessert menu and plenty of adult beverages at the bar.

Our server Emily was AMAZING tonight!!! We enjoyed the all you can eat crab legs (very good and very continuous ?) which also included 5 or 6 different ways to have the shrimp and an extra side, needless to say I am very full and very content with everything!!

Great food. Need to make sure they give you the little things like cocktail and tartar. It's a make or break when you order a 40 dollar meal and are left high and dry.

Let’s get right into it. The appetizer took a long time to come out and we were checked on quite less than others, and they let that be known off the bat. If I am not welcomed please tell me, so I can save my money….so they were a little busy, but not slammed.. as others were getting their stuff pretty fast. The size was quite small when it finally came to the table ..like it was for one person or child… and for the price it just doesn’t make sense. The whole place makes no sense, the plates ordered are pictured …one plate had only one piece of fish.. like what?… for almost $30 before tax ? with cheap fries and weird little little hush puppies. The menu didn’t say anything about 1 piece of fish.. but on certain plates it said the type of fish, and catfish is not mentioned. Next to some plates it just doesn’t say what kind of fish, which also makes no sense. That sauce below the little store bought tasting lump crab cakes is like a mayo taste or some type of mayo base. I don’t know what is happening here at this empty hole in the wall but for the price to be $98 which included one bar drink and no water even though they said yes water is coming it never came .. it is insane and robbery. It is very small, which would not matter if they served proper portions.. after you see the plates you start noticing other stuff at this establishment… and it’s too expensive for the quality and quantity. I am not a cheapskate I travel wide for food, and you guys know it’s about the quality, and quantity… and if that is not a factor.. neither is the price… but I also know when I am being robbed. That’s my time guys see you all in the next review. (?) man I was mad.

First and last time eating here. The only good thing we received was the calamari. I wanted raw oysters due to a picture showing half shell raw oysters online. When they came out none was shucked and they didn't even bother washing them beforehand. My wife ordered the seafood Alfredo was not pleased with it at all. Overall not a good experience got everything to go so I could properly prepare the oysters for eating at home. Once I was home and started to shuck them found a few was empty and the rest did not look good at all ended up throwing them away. Complete waste of money. I have eaten raw oysters a lot this was the worst experience I have had with a seafood restaurant.

Restaurantji Recommends
I had The Tin Fin cater my sons rehearsal lunch this weekend in Rincon GA. I had never heard of this restaurant before because I live in SC. I would definitely recommend them. I spoke to Shaundra many times on the phone and she was very friendly and accommodated my every need and change in menu .The staff are were polite, friendly and they set up everything. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I would give 10 Stars if possible. If I'm ever in the need of another catering event I will chose them.
Thank you so much.

I was excited to go Tin Fin. I heard a lot of positive review in the past years about this place. We must've visited on an usual business day. It was a Friday and the restaurant was full we were seated pretty quickly and the wait began. The waitress was at our table pretty quickly for our drink order bit the drinks were delayed the delivery of our order was delayed food out of the kitchen was delayed and the waitress was very nice but seemed heavily over worked. The food was ok but very expensive fornthe quality and quantity. We will give it another try another day to see if we were just the rare occasion or not.
