Been looking for a NY style pizza place I can order by the slice. Pizza is also delicious, I can see them going places.

My mom drove to my job to drop off some of the lasagna as she put it "it was the best lasagna she's ever eaten" , I thought she hyped it up but after eating it she was right it is the best ive ever had.

We've tried the pizza twice. The first time it was a little dry and about 1 minute over done but good. The second time we asked for extra sauce. Again the pizza was a little dry but over cooked . I'm going to give it a third try but we will be ordering pasta.

Best pizza we have had in a LONG time! Definitely will be back soon! So happy to have real NY style pizza in Rincon?Vegetarian options: Many different options for vegetarians. So nice to see since that is often not the case. We had a pineapple and mushroom pizza. Delicious!

Give this place a try! The cheese pizza was a 5 out of 5. The meatlovers pizza was a 4 out of 5, we thought the ham / ham flavor overpowered it in a bad way. The customer service face to face was good, they were quick to take my order and it only took 30 mins for pizza to be ready and that's exactly what they estimated. I tried to call in advance to place an order and could not get anyone on the phone so I was forced to sit and wait. It's a new store and it was extremely hot in the building, typical of a good pizza place, but too hot to eat there in my opinion even though people were eating here. The best pizza in Effingham without a doubt, there are similar options if you are willing to drive 30 mins outside of rincon. We will definitely be back for more

Great fresh Pizza definitely made to order. This place uses grande mozzarella which is the best mozzarella you can use for pizza. Ordered the “Brooklyn” style the sauce and cheese were perfect. The sauce is on point. However I feel like the dough should be a little thicker and more of an airated texture for the Brooklyn. Finding this spot for the first time was very confusing it’s nestled away in what seems to be a gas station shopping center. Putting a sign up would definitely help even on the lawn area to notify the public of a pizzeria in the strip. Atmosphere was somewhat not welcoming. The store was very hot i wouldn’t be able to eat inside for sure. Also a little tip- recognizing your customers and acknowledging them can go a long way. I Understand this must be a stressful time for the owner but customers like being noticed . Best of luck.

Tommy is getting to big for his britches and will soon realize reputation is everything was gonna work for him until I was told Tommy just yells at his employees and throws stuff at them, he told me he doesn’t even answer the phone if it gets busy nor delivery. I’ve seen him use a Home Depot bucket for his sauce LMAOOO. Food safety who? Oh definitely not Tommy pizza and pasta

Will start by saying I am a Brooklyn girl who moved to Dixie in 2006, and have struggled to find decent pizza ever since. We have had, up until now, ONE good pizzeria, and it is an hour drive each way for me. So, getting a good, authentic NYC style pizza place so close to home is absolutely AMAZING! I was skeptical, of course, because in 18 years, we have only had that ONE good place, despite plenty of people telling us about this or that pizzeria that tastes “just like NY!” ? They never do.I called our order in over the phone, and the person who helped me was great. He repeated everything back to me to make sure the order was correct. Additionally, he let me know it was busy, and it would take about an hour for our order to be ready (which I greatly appreciated! My husband does not enjoy waiting in long lines or crowds, so it was very helpful to know what time he should leave to drive over.)We ordered two large pies: one plain, one with pepperoni (that one was for hubby. I’m a purist when it comes to pizza. A good pizza needs no additional toppings!) We also ordered two cannoli and two stuffed zeppole.Hubby LOVED the pepperoni pizza! He said it was delicious, the texture of the crust was exactly right, and the pepperoni was way better than any other pizza place we’ve tried. The plain pizza tasted great. The only “negative” was that it was a little overdone - likely stayed in the oven just a bit too long (which happens, I understand.) The sauce is excellent - a bit sweeter than what we’ve gotten used to from NYCP, but definitely more like our favorite pizzeria back home. The crust was a little too crunchy, and I couldn’t fold my slice without it breaking. The cheese, while tasty, was probably over-melted, because it seemed like there wasn’t enough. I honestly think if it had come out of the oven just a few minutes earlier, it would have been perfect! Hibby said his pepperoni pie was not like that, at all, and agreed that his probably came out of the oven first. The cannoli - OH. EM. GEEEEE!THE CANNOLI!!!! Absolutely delicious! The BEST we have had down here, EVER!The stuffed zeppole: I must have misunderstood the person who took my order. I thought he said there was one zeppole per order, so I ordered two. We got a total of SIX - three in each container! These are good. A little bit too doughy, but still better than anything similar we’ve had down here, so I’m not complaining. We’ve got dessert for a few days! The cannoli cream filling is REALLY good! I’m impressed!Hubby said the place looks just like any neighborhood pizza joint back home in Brooklyn (except he said there’s not a lot of counter space.)He said Tommy was very busy, just making pizza after pizza after pizza. We hope he gets a chance at some point to train some of his employees in the art of pizza-making so he can eventually get a break! All in all, we are VERY HAPPY customers, and will DEFINITELY be ordering again soon. It’s a dream come true for us to have real, authentic NYC style pizza so close to home now, after almost 18 years of living here!Thank you, Tommy Crinigan, for bringing a little bit of Brooklyn to Rincon!PS: in regards to some of the chatter we’ve read about language and attitude, we have this to say, FWIW:Everyone was SO EXCITED to be getting an authentic NYC style pizzeria here in Effingham. I have been reading allllllllllll the posts over the past several months, and everyone was thrilled about it and quite eager for Tommy’s to open. Now I’m seeing some whiney complaints about “hE cUrSeS tOo MuCh,” “hE yElLs ToO mUcH,” and “hE dOeSn’T sMiLe At HiS cUsToMeRs!” Well, you know what? You wanted an AUTHENTIC NYC pizza joint - those are filled with colorful language, lots of loud yelling, and plenty of attitude - we got what we asked for and I am HERE FOR IT!Congratulations, Tommy’s Pizza and Pasta in Rincon Ga on what I am confident will continue to be a BIG HIT! We can’t wait to try some more delish food!!!

My review will probably offend some georgians but here it goes haha . Moved to rincon almost 2 years ago from NY, grew up used to eating great pizza . Sorry Georgia residents but the south does not know what real pizza is . I heard all the hype about Tommy's pizza and thought to myself " oh boy another southerner recommending pizza again here we go , I'm sure it's mediocre despite all the 5 star reviews " . Well I decided to take the risk and see what it was all about . Bought a large pie and I felt like I was in my hometown again , this is real NY/NJ style pizza , everything from the crust , cheese and sauce Tommy is on point . I love GA but miss the Northern food. Sad that when I finally find a great pizza spot I'm already leaving the rincon area. Needless to say I will be traveling across town just to get tommys again. This guy can't keep up with the traffic for a reason , his food is top notch. Hire more people and try to cope with the heavy traffic and your restaurant will be killing it more than it already is. Recommend Tommys pizza 100%

Perfection. A must needed change from the greasy pizza chains. I got a Sicilian pizza, half cheese half pep. The sauce was phenomenal. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu had good options. My picky eater loved the tenders.
