Best Japanese restaurant with the best sushi in Savannah area. Extensive sake, wine & top shelf liquor menu as well. Vegetables were al dente, not crunchy. Perfect.

Tonight was our first visit, but it definitely won’t be our last. Don’t know why we hadn’t been before now. The food was GREAT! Fast friendly service. Y’all have to go!
The food was very delicious overall. I started out with the sushi ? sampler appetizer. The sushi was fresh and delicious, the wasabi and pickled ginger were a nice accompaniment to this dish. For my entreé, I had ribeye & shrimp hibachi with fried rice and steamed vegetables. Other dishes included steak & shrimp hibachi, fried shrimp, fried vegetables with fried rice, and the final fish was teriyaki salmon with fried rice and steamed vegetables.
Parking: Lots of free parking. Located at a shopping mall.

This little Japanese restaurant is a hidden gem in Rincon. They have some of the best American style Japanese dishes in the area. Tomo also has a wide selection of beverages on their drink menu.
If you are looking for great quality Japanese food without driving to Savannah, this is a great choice

Crazy Tomo was my absolute favorite one, really delicious. Not much to say beyond that, just highly recommend and will order this again.
I really enjoyed the New York roll, to me it had a subtle sweetness to it that went great with a light dip of soy sauce.
Hollywood was great. This was my first time trying any type of cooked/hot sushi, but I enjoyed the cream cheese inside this fried roll, would definitely order this again.
Effingham roll was ok. The pieces were packed with a lot of ingredients then deep fried so they were quite large and had to be eaten in 2 bites. Again, not used to cooked sushi, and never had Jalapeno in sushi. The flavor profile of it really threw me off. If you like cooked sushi and jalapenos I think you'd enjoy this. It is well made, just not my personal preference.
Will be back to try other sushi rolls. :)

Great food, friendly staff,fair pricing. Tomo's is one of our go to places when family visits. When Ricon was devastated by Hurricane Matthew and we had no means to cook, Tomos was working to keep everyone feed.
My wife and I just moved near here, and we were looking for a sushi spot. I saw several on the map, but most looked like chain restaurants. We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service. We ordered a couple of appetizers, Fried Gyoza and Yellowtail, with Jalapeño. Both came out rather quickly, and they were delicious. For the main, we split the Pink Lady Roll and Fusion Roll. Wonderful! Service was prompt and friendly. We'll go back to try the rest of the menu.
