Went for lunch and got the chicken melt. The sandwich was basic but good and the Cole slaw was good too. The booths are torn up in several seats and places giving the atmosphere 4 stars for me. If you are in a wheel chair, you can still get inside easily, but maneuvering back to the bathroom will be tricky. The hall to the bathroom is skinny and the ramp is steep, but once you get up there the bathrooms are large and there is plenty of room to move around.
I stopped by Aunt Effie’s for a quick to-go order, and I’m so glad I did. The food was delicious. But what really stood out was the service. The cashier who handled my order (I wish I caught her name) was incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive even though it was pretty busy. She walked me through the menu, made great recommendations, and had my order out faster than I expected. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers and takes pride in what she does. It's...
Just passing through Ringgold on a road trip to Florida. What a great choice we made! The fried catfish was incredible and everyone in this town is just so friendly and kind. The service reflected the general vibe of the whole place. It is so refreshing to be in a place where people are interacting with one another and looking up from their phones to experience real life. Loved Aunt Effie’s all around!
