Normally the food is great and I hate knocking off a couple of stars from my review but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! This has been my favorite BBQ place for over 15 years, but today it was just not that great. I ordered our office lunch and then dinner for my family of 4 at the same time earlier today, and spent around $65. I asked how fresh the slaw was and they said it was just made. Nope it was so sour and yellowish that I tossed it in the garbage after a sniff and 1 small bite. The slaw was originally my main reason for going there. A pint of slaw was the only thing I was going to buy for our hot dogs that we fix at home but I decided just to order dinner and lunch all in one trip. For some odd reason the BBQ pork or beef is always very cold when you get it which is strange for a smoked BBQ shack. Best thing they have is the fries , at least they were edible and they had good seasoning and were crunchy. A shame that fries aren't a good dinner by themselves.
Wheelchair accessibility: Has ramp from parking lot to enter store. Plenty wide for any wheelchair.

The food is always fresh & prepared correctly. The employees are very nice people & always super friendly, no matter how busy they are. I highly recommend their pulled pork, fries, cornbread & banana pudding! My only criticism is- the macaroni needs some improvement. It's not bad, it just tastes like boxed macaroni & doesn't match very well with all the other delicious food.
I just had a poor experience at this restaurant. I ordered a family pack and some additional sides to have for our family to watch the Georgia football game. I ordered it in advance online for pick up and arrived in a timely manner. The lady at the window gave me one large bag and said that was it. I drove all the way back home only to discover that they had not given me my meat or my buns. Since the game was starting in five minutes, I called them to let them know and also asked them if they had a DoorDash or delivery driver who could bring it to me since I had already gone all the way home. They said they did not, but if I came back in, they would give it to me. There was no apology. So I drove all the way back to the restaurant, And the young lady who made the error did not apologize. So I asked for the manager, the manager came to the window and was not apologetic. She did not offer any discount either for my inconvenience and having to drive all the way back. Then I got home and realized I did not even get two of the sides (two sides of mac n cheese) I ordered also. The manager was a very young lady who did not seem to have customer service knowledge whatsoever. In the past, this restaurant has donated food to the community and community teams, and I appreciate them for that. But with a manager who does not have customer service skills and who does not offer discounts or even apologies for errors that cause inconvenience to their customers, this restaurant is not going to head in the right direction.

A patients son came in to visit and we started talking about where they are going to eat for him and his wife’s wedding anniversary, he mentioned this place and I preceded to tell him why we NEVER EVER go here. Well, I’m not shocked as I still have not received A reply from an “owner or manager “ from this place. I expect at least an apology which should have been done straightforward from the first time I posted!! Like I said, they must have too many customers to worry with one! No worries, much better places to eat surrounding this trash!!!
4/13/21 STILL NO RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER ON THIS NASTY LOOKING THING THAT WAS IN MY BURGER! I believe your tooooooooo big for your britches! Certainly not at all humbled! It’s ok though.

You are rude as a business owner but I guess you can be simply because you have sooo many other people that do eat at your facility! We won’t! Your a disgrace
No joke! This is the lettuce that was put on my cheeseburger this past Saturday!! How in the hell and what is this??? I threw the burger away and I swear, WE WILL NOT EVER RETURN!!! How does this place get 5 stars? I’m curious..

I ordered a pork sandwich with slaw and fried okra. At other locations its been a favorite for years. Today my sandwich had no slaw and the okra so salty I couldn't eat it. I won't be stopping by this location again.

Choo choo bbq on three notch is good . But these kids that are left alone in the evenings are ruining it fast. I request bbq sauce on the side every time I go . Bc if you don’t then your meal has twice as much bbq sauce then it should, ask for it on the side you either still get it put on your food or it’s forgotten all together. I’m to the point I’ve been driving to rock springs to that choo choo. They listen and you get more food for your money.
