Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

As my wife and I were on our way back home to Nashville from Atlanta we stopped by this cracker barrel for breakfast. With all the political stuff going on with cracker barrel and the food tasting subpar at best we decided to give it a try. This cracker barrel did not disappoint. It was a Sunday afternoon when people were getting out of church and it was crowded but the wait was only about 20 minutes. The entire staff were very polite and welcoming. The food was excellent. My wife and I enjoyed everything on our plate. It's very rare that cracker barrel impresses me but this one absolutely did. I will definitely stop by again if ever in the area.

The hostess sested us. I was with a friend who uses a cane. There was a spill on the floor and when I asked her if it could be cleaned up she rolled her eyes at me. The restrooms were dirty. Black lines in the toilets meaning they haven't been cleaned in a while. The food came out. We ordered pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs. The pancakes were good but not hot enough to even melt the butter on top. The eggs were lukewarm. The waitress was good. But the food was definitely not as good as it should have been.

I received an email from Cracker barrel advertising special meals delivered for $8.12. I placed my order and received a conformation my total order was $9.12. Great deal..ha ha my card was charged $19.00. I immediately called to cancel my order. I talked to Kim, who told me she was the manager and would issue a full refund. It has been 5 working days and still no refund. I went to walk my dog later and saw a Cracker Barrel bag on the sidewalk. I don't have a clue how long it had been there. Long enough for flies and creepy crawlers to have a meal. I brought the bag in and when I brought the bag in and opened it I was totally shocked! It was a paper thin small slice of meat loaf and mashed potatoes you could stand a fork straight up.

Every time you get an item on your menu that brings me to Cracker Barrel, you discontinue it. Leave the camp fire meals on your menu year round and bring back the steak& biscuit

I was so excited to order my usual, maple bacon chicken, only to be shocked when I opened the menu to see that it had been removed! I also notice the Sunday chicken wasn’t on there, which is my mom’s favorite. I am just now seeing all the media attention about the rebranding, so I’m not sure if it has something to do with that or not. If it does, I’m definitely not a fan! We come to Cracker Barrel often but I’m afraid our trips here will be limited in the future. I’m honestly sad about this.

We had to wait 30 minutes, which was fine. We went to our table and waited at least 20 minutes for the waitress. She apologized. She said they were very understaffed. She took our drinks, which we waited for another 30 minutes. We put our order in, then sat another 30 minutes. When we finally received our order, things were missing. Never got my complete order but paid full price. When I was waiting to pay, I heard the cashier saying everyone was quite upset. Did not have enough cooks, waitresses. I use to enjoy Cracker Barrel, but was very disappointed. Probably will not return.

🥰While inflation has driven costs sky high, the Cracker has held the line better than most! I'm a catfish lover and, outside of breakfast, I usually order the same dinner with just a variety of sides! Excellent catfish! Their servers are always courteous, friendly, and accommodating to every need. Wut's not to like? If you LOVE to eat, EAT at the Ringgold, GA Cracker!😍
