I recently visited the Georgia Winery and, unfortunately, had a really disappointing experience. We were actually regular guests there and members of their wine club rewards program, so we’ve known the place for a while. But under the new management, the professionalism just vanished. Staff were talking behind customers’ backs, and they never communicated their new policy changes properly. They said a new policy would be enforced in December, but we were left totally in the dark about the details. In short, I wouldn’t recommend anyone go back, and we definitely won’t be returning ourselves. Update We’ve been loyal customers of the Georgia Winery for years and even members of their wine club rewards program, but our recent visit was extremely disappointing. Under the new management, the professionalism and friendliness that once made this place special seem to be gone. Staff were openly talking behind customers’ backs, and there was zero clear communication about their new policies. We were told changes would take effect in December, but no one seemed to know or explain what those changes actually were. To make matters worse, instead of addressing our concerns, the winery has tried to take down my honest review online and has done nothing to resolve the issue. It’s sad to see a place we used to love decline this way, but unfortunately, we won’t be returning — and we can’t recommend it to others in its current state.
Meredith was our queen for today! She is so knowledgeable about the wine, and the history of the winery. She knows all about the process of making this amazing wine. This was our first visit to a winery, and we had a blast! Thanks Meredith!
TREY AND MEREDITH ARE EVERYTHING. They were so informative and helpful and the best hosts. I love them & you will too
My wife and I got a total of 8 bottles of wine and our favorites were the concord, peach, and georgia on my mind. The staff were very inviting and welcoming. They offered us samples and we also got 5% off of our bottles. They have lots of different varieties and choices and it was all very good. The inside was very clean and made us feel at home.
The staff is incredibly friendly, the ambience is peaceful and scenic, making it an ideal spot for a special occasion. I visited here for my birthday, and the drinks were great! They also usually have some sort of special going on or seasonal drinks that make your trip worth it!
Trey was our tour guide for our visit, and I can’t even explain how phenomenal he was. He was attentive, funny, so informational, and didn’t rush us at all! We were the last group of the day and felt free to take our time exploring the wines.
We had a group with a few different accommodations and he handled everything so pleasantly and effortlessly. He answered all of our questions, was accurate and SO timely with serving our samples, and even made us laugh! Our group has such good memories from our visit because of him and he probably needs a raise. He was also a great photographer, our photo came out so well.
The facility itself is beautiful and clean, and it was so fun and interesting to learn about the history behind Georgia Winery and how it’s made!
I highly recommend this place to anyone, wine-lover or not, because of the customer service, gorgeous building, and unexpectedly delicious drinks!
Trey was the absolute BEST tour guide. Very attentive to our group and personable. Highly recommend touring if you’re in the area.
I really enjoyed my first ever tour of a winery. The tasting was fun and delicious. Not being a wine drinker I bought 6 bottles!! The artisanal cheese tray was very good as well.
Stopped by for a quick tasting and genuinely enjoyed some of the samples. Bought a variety in a case to bring home.
We came on Aug 9, 25 for our 2nd winery tour. Even better than the first time. Walking through the vines to the gazebo was a great addition. Jenny, Janet, & Brooke were wonderful, knowledgeable & very hospitable. We bought a case plus many extras. Will definitely be back for a visit again. Annually most likely.

Janet wan an awesome guide. Very interesting and informative tour. Will definitely come back with friends.
Right off the highway in fort O. Easy in and out. Very pretty building complet with grape vines hanging over head as you enter. Very spacious place with tables to order a glass of wine. They have cracker with cheese and diffrent kinds of spreads. They also have cookies, cake balls( you get 6 for $1 each), jams, jellys, canned pickles and okra. They offer 5 free wine tasting their bottles are very reliable priced some starting at $9 and most at $18.
The wine was very smooth with a great finish and flavor. We would just like a few more cheese pairings with the charcuterie
We enjoyed a tasting here yesterday. Sadly I do not remember the ladies name who served us, but she was very sweet and informative. We ended with a bottle of wine and their charcuterie board and cheese plate, both were very yummy. We were told a pizza oven is coming soon! Thank you for a relaxing afternoon!
Had such a great experience. Brandy and Jenny were absolutely fantastic, they were very friendly and helpful. They took the time to help me pick out some incredible wines that I’m really excited about. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!
