I love this place and would recommend it to anyone and hate leaving reviews but today was just… not it..
We’ve always loved coming here and typically have a great experience, but unfortunately this visit was a disappointment. Our party of 9 (4 adults, 5 kids) arrived at 5pm, placed our order about 10 minutes later, and got our drinks with no issues.
After an hour with no food, the manager came over to let us know our server had entered our order but never actually sent it...
Fish bites, chicken tenders, and the double-fried chicken sandwich were ordered. The fish bites were excellent—my wife and father-in-law had them and loved them. The fish basket was cooked perfectly. My son had the chicken tenders and thought they were really good—about five inches long, an inch thick, and freshly made, not frozen. On balance, the fish was better than the chicken sandwich. Worth a visit, for sure...

Service needs work. Our waitress was not the best. She assumed. She did not ask how we wanted our food, if wanted grilled or fried. Ordered oysters as an appetizer to share and never got any plates to eat off of. Had to use a napkin.
Other customers got plates, silverware, drinks, etc.
