My husband picked up our dinner last night. We have eaten there many times and it has been very good. Last night dinner was very salty and when I was eating the banana pudding I felt something weird in pudding. It was bacon bits in the pudding! Very nasty so I will never eat there again! Talk about cross contamination!

Even tho there was only 2 people besides us it took forever to get waited on and get our awful food ordered my 7 month old Mac and cheese and it cost 8.00 that's ridiculous. They will never get another penny of mine

I travel quite a bit for work, which means that I often get the opportunity to try many different places to eat. On my trip this week, I decided to grab some barbecue, and I’m so glad that I did.
I placed my order online for take out, and was surprised to see how quickly it said that my order would be ready. I hopped in the car and drove the 10 minutes, thinking to myself that there was no way that the timing was accurate. I arrived and went inside and my order was ready and waiting! Talk about fast service! The staff was SUPER friendly and I immediately felt welcomed and valued. Quite often to-go orders are quick and less than personable, but not at Thatchers. I spoke with two servers, and both were super friendly and took the extra time to make sure I was happy.
Service was great, how was the food? AWESOME! By far THE best meal I’ve had. I ordered their brisket tacos, and it may seem like I’m exaggerating, but it was seriously the best taco I’ve ever had (and I’ve traveled to 46 States!)
The food was so good that I stopped by the next day to order one of every taco they offer to bring back the 4 hour drive home, because there was no way I was going to pass up sharing with my wife how good the food was. She’s a bit of a picky eater and she was so happy that I stopped here again to bring home dinner.
Going forward, whenever I have to travel back to this area, best believe I’ll be picking a hotel near Ringgold JUST for the chance to eat here again!
We had a smoked turkey wrap and a grilled chicken salad, sweet tea, and water for drinks. The waitress was right on top of everything awesome service. Highly suggested!!!!!!

I've visited all four Thatcher's locations, and the food has always been consistently good. We've never had a bad meal.
At the Ringgold location, we ordered our favorite, the Man of Smoke sandwich, along with sweet potato tots for lunch. The regular-sized Man of Smoke is enough for two people, in my opinion, and the jumbo size is huge!
The two young ladies at the Ringgold location, pictured below, were wonderful and provided excellent customer service. If you're in the area, Thatcher's is definitely a great spot for good food.
