This was my first visit but it won't be my last! The waitress was an absolute delight! The food is amazing and the portions are large. We had to get carry-out containers for the leftovers!

Neither of our orders were good. My chickydoo spud was such a disappointment. The cheese must have come out of a can, my potato was hard and starchy, but the barbecue sauce was good. Our Rueben sandwich was not good, either. We won’t go back.

Eat here everytime I come in from out of state, it's such a great mom and pops restaurant. The BBQ is absolutely tender, the mac and is extra cheesy. The service is the kindest! Now if only I can talk y'all into moving your restaurant to my home town in South Carolina so I can have it more ? thanks for always being top notch!

Came here today for dinner to try it out. Absolutely amazing food. My whole family loved it! The briskets were delicious. Juicy, tender, and very flavorful. The burgers were perfectly cooked as well! They helped us with anything we needed. They also greeted us when we entered and said goodbye when we left. Very polite! Thank you Thatcher’s! Definitely recommend!Parking: Plenty of spots available in front of the restaurant!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, waiters very friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs can enter and sit at a table.

This place always delivers. Get the loaded tots, or brisket, or pulled pork. Whatever you get you’ll be loving it! My only complaint is their sweet tea is too dang sweet but I’m not originally from here so all is forgiven! We drive 30-40 min for our bbq fix passing 4-5 other joints for this one!

Man of smoke was delicious. The most tender and flavorful brisket I've ever had. Place was busy but service was responsive and the food arrived quickly. Great chips, great sweet tea, great cole slaw. Really, stop here and try it out, even if you're not hungry. Recommend!

Stopped in today for our first time and after ordering waited an hour just to get our food. The kitchen sounded so disorganized, as they were yelling to eachother where pans were or that they were out of multiple food sides: mac n cheese, soup, cole slaw and more when reviewing already printed tickets. One worker overheard when my father and I were talking at the 40 min marl and went to ask the kitchen where our food was and I overheard the kitchen say that they were five tickets behind. Though the lady never came back and informed us. Another customer was suprised at how long we were qaiting but reassured us this place was good. When we finally got our food they offered us a drink which was great, thank you, but upon getting home our food was wrong. We were completely dissapointed! My mom was supposed to get a Confetti Spud but her food didnt come with any melted cheddar cheese or jack cheese but with what looked queso cheese. No black beans. No ranch. No sour cream [even though I ordered extra]. My dad ordered a Brickhouse spud, which didnt come any sour cream, either. Then for my kids I ordered a kids mac n cheese with a side of fries and received a grilled cheese instead. Also the strawberry puddin wasnt pudding at all, but strawberry glaze mixed with cool whip and strawberry slices. ?I was hoping this would have been a new place for us to go, but instead disappointed my family for suggesting this place, as theg were starving when we got home and my mom ended up not even eating hers!

Let's start with the wonderful service. The ladies that took care of us were awesome! Quick to seat us, always there for a refill, and brought some amazing food. Speaking of the food I can't say enough about the mac and cheese! This is some of the best I have ever had. The family agreed we would drive out of our way just to have it again. The Okra was also a big hit. Fried just right so it didn't have that odd texture. The meats were exceptionally tasty. We had the pork, chicken and brisket. I will say if you are expecting Texas style brisket then do not order. You're in Georgia and it's done different, and for this style of brisket it is done well. Plenty of room for a larger family or a group of friends so bring them down to an excellent example of southern bbq.

The foods quite good but service has been really inconsistent on to go orders. Frequently missing sauces we've paid for, and missing sides from other. Quantity of food has differed on orders from "worth the value" to "just enough."

2/1/24 tried the Brunswick stew and grilled cheese today. The grilled cheese was toasted nicely but was the cheese was not melted. Stew was good. New remodel is nice and restaurant was very clean. Service friendly and fast.
