We stopped for breakfast and it was perfect for us. Coffee was a smooth and hot.
I got the bacon omelette with a biscuit. Biscuit was soft and yummy.
Hubby got the Lookout breakfast with biscuits and gravy, and there was nothing left in his plate.everything was good.
Can’t wait to come back for dessert. They have pies 😳
Food and service were delightful. An unexpected surprise out in the country. Definitely stop if visiting Cloudland Canyon state park.
Tried to call in a breakfast order. First phone call rang twice and got hung up on. Called back, got asked to wait a moment (generally no problem)… except I was sitting in their parking lot and waited on hold for three minutes. While on hold I watched employees coming outside for a smoke break. Hung up, drove down the mountain.
Southern cooking at its finest, all the flavor with none of the heavy. Chicken tenders are tender, hand battered, and crispy, YUM! The greens are fresh and perfectly seasoned. And lemon merengue pie, oh my. 😁
The enclosed patio was nice. Food was mediocre, rather bland. Had a good selection of sides to go with the entree meat. Server was friendly but obviously over worked.
We absolutely enjoyed our meal here!! We were staying right up the road and had to try it. The food was so fresh and sooo good! Perfect portion also. Everyone was so friendly!!! The locals and the workers!
We got a to-go order to take back to the yurt we rented. I got the catfish plate which was the special of the day with fried okra and corn nuggets for my side. I would have gotten a picture except I was enjoying it too much to get a picture of it. It was delicious and gone quickly. The staff were also very friendly and I would certainly come here again.
Dang delicious diner! Classic BL to the T.
Everything you need and want from a new old diner. The art of the southern breakfast lives on here in strength and deliciousness.
Nice down home atmosphere. Food is good. Just moved here 3 months ago. The waitress is very nice and make you feel like family

Small, locally owned cafe with southern style cooking. They have a standard menu but also specials listed on a sign inside. The specials were catfish, grouper, and meatloaf on the day I went. Also had fresh cornbread.

Best bamb pancakes! Just know if you are diabetic there is no way to know the carb count of their pancakes 😒 we were battling our daughter's sugar level all afternoon with just two of the pancakes. The other food is meh... The sausage gravy was blan... Like it was from a can... The eggs were good but eggs are eggs.... The sausage patties were good.... But the pancakes... Man... They were the best damn pancakes we've ever had!
Kid-friendliness: The staff is so friendly and treated our kids with so much kindness.
