This quaint little cafe is located just a little ways down the road from Cloudland State Park. A cute little place with good ol country cooking & friendly service. We chose the meat & two sides and were completely satisfied with the taste and quantity of food. It might not look like a lot of food but were we stuffed.

I got the country fried steak and my husband got the all you could eat fish plate (on a Friday) both were very delicious!! The servers were wonderful, they worked together didn't matter if it was their table or not they seen my husband's tea glass almost empty and she brought some out. Definitely will be going back!

Nice little cafe close to Cloudland Canyon State Park. We had meat loaf, pork chops, turnip greens, fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs. The tomatoes and deviled eggs really weren't of our liking, but the rest was delicious. The service was awesome and the prices reasonable. Would definitely go again if we're in town.

The best home cooking we've had in years - anywhere. Great daily specials. Massive list of vegetables every day plus specials. Scrumptious deserts. Willa and Christy give this place great food and a warm atmosphere. Very close to Cloudland Canyon State Park if you're staying there.

Spent the day hiking the park. This was the perfect place to eat dinner afterwards. Down home accommodation with a friendly staff.I had the country fried steak. My wife and son had the meatloaf. Decent portions for the price. We all but licked the plate clean.

Don't take call in orders very well never answer phone then have to go through drive threw and wait 20 mins kind of annoying for a good place with good food gas station next door answers phone always and decent

A friend & I stopped in to eat after the New Salem Festival Saturday & she got a vegetable plate & I got the spaghetti & salad. Our food was pretty good. She ordered a cheeseburger & fries to go. The burger was completely raw inside & had to be thrown out. Make sure the meat is cooked inside before serving it to someone. The atmosphere is cute though & our waitress was friendly.
Friendly, Fast service, my glass stayed topped off, I had everything I needed in a timely fashion. Food was there quick, and really hit the spot. Every time our crew works up here, this is our "GO To." Never disappointed. If you haven't tried this sweet little spot near Cloudland Canyon State Park, I HIGHLY Recommend you do so. Takes me back to the good ol Days. 5 stars.

Order food to go, had to knock on the drive thru window that had boxes in front of it. The Meat had clearly been on a warmer for too long, all the veggies were clearly just from a can. Made me sick, won't come back.

I so wanted to be able to give this place a great review but unfortunately, I can't. The service was great -:) but like others have said little if anything was made onsite. Most of us ordered the vegetable plate but none of us were able to finish any of it, 2 ordered the burger and they both said it was good and ate it all. We are always happy to patronize local places so at least we were able to support them. We traveled to hike Cloudland Canyon and stopped to eat here.

Cute little place. Decent burger especially if you are famished right after hiking all day. Loved that the food wasn't over seasoned and cooked perfectly. They had a good selection of sides too. The pies were delicious. Everyone was really friendly and accommodating.
