We had our first time trying wood-fired pizza, and we absolutely loved it!

We woke up to a downpour rainy day at Cloudland Canyon, so decided to go grab some pizza at Lookout. Small little building with a wood oven. It is a BYOB place, so got a coke and ordered a Sophia and two Popes for the four of us. The pizzas were delicious and we ate almost all but 2 pieces to take back to the campsite. Of the two pizza, I would pic the Pope with the three meats that soaked into the crust. Highly recommend this pizza place if you are in the area and sit on the outside porch if the weather is nice.

Great pizza! Get there when they open or you might miss out. They close early if they run out of dough for the night.

Required ordering just as you walked in the entrance. The pizza was very good.
Outside seating conditions weren’t good as most of the tables were sunk down into mulch.

The best pizza I've ever had, hands down! everything was so fresh from the bread, to the meat, to the cheese. Highly recommend this place. Pricing is about $25 per person.

Amazing pizza. I mean, it is really good. Crust is super thin and crispy, and the ingredients are fresh tasting. The peperoni was large and of good quality. Mushrooms were portobello. Good ingredients make good food.

Note the pizzas are equivalent to a small commercial pizza. It was enough for my husband and I, but he could have easily eaten it by himself.

These folks are the real deal! The dough is a neopolitan meets Brooklyn! Fantastic sauce and no skimping on the toppings that you might otherwise find with an off the beaten path pizza place. One look at the pizza oven tells you that these guys are for real.

If you are anywhere near here, and are wishing you had good pizza, check this place out. It’s worth the drive!

I will be Up there next week, and will make the 20 minute drive to get this pizza!
