7/16/25 8:25pm All the food was cold and we ordered a white fish dinner they did not put the rice in there. Nor did they tell us they didn't have any call up there they say is not no substitution and they not giving the money back and on top of all that all the hush peppies looked like somebody bit into them and I got pictures and I will be calling up there monday to talk to the manager 7/11/25

Best Food in a long time - Man when I tell you I travel all over Georgia and around Atlanta for work and been eating Captain D's since I was a kid. Whatever my man in the back is frying the food in was hands down the most perfectly fried meal I've had. I didn't even know they season their fish til today because I could see it.

The young lady up front was super nice and doing her job asking every customer if wanted to add the shrimp, explaining the upgrades and just super sweet. Very attentive.

I even texted my girl pics to show her what my plate looked like cuz she from down here.

Ya'll lucky for this one ATL - not all reviews gotta be bad and management & owners should be proud. The location was spotless including the bathrooms. Location could be updated but other than that I really enjoyed it and I made sure to let them know I was impressed before I left because no matter what you do, it's always a feel good moment to hear your doing a great job!👍

This place is horrible they are serving up old food and cooking the food in old fish grease I ordered the 2 piece catfish it was hard and smelled of old grease..too bad I was home before I opened the bag else would have demanded a refund.. but check your food for quality and taste before you leave this place, Also food made me sick will be reaching out to the health department.

Went through the drive thru sat there for minutes no one came to take the order. Got to the drive thru window waited the window was half way open yelled and the cashier finally came saying you gotta drive back around cause I’m already taking an order no madam that’s not how that works. Proceed to order catfish she turned and asked the cook who was sitting in the lobby did they have any he said no. It’s always something with this Captain D’s!!

Drive thru person turned away car behind me and it was 15 mintues to 10 saying they were closed. This location is always trying to shut down early, and the customer service is terrible. I wonder if whomever owns this location ever visits it they need to see the atrocious behavior of the people they employ.

This was all around a horrible experience. This was by far the worst food I’ve ever had from a captain d’s. I paid 31.17 for some garbage. I ordered fish and chicken dinner and 4 piece catfish dinner. Nothing tasted fresh. The corn and okra tasted old. The hush puppies were cold & tough for some reason. When I say everything tasted horrible I mean everything I ordered. Who ever put them okra in my box should’ve know better they were burnt, cold, and old. And it was literally less than a handful. My dad had fish & chicken. Again they both were cold & hard. He kept complaining how hard it was. I’m so disappointed. While waiting on my food I see a German roach not 1 but 2!!! On the counter in the freaking day time at that so imagine what they’re like at night!!! The girl was able to kill one and then she didn’t even wipe the counter at all!!! I should’ve gotten my money back then! That was my sign to run! I’m calling the health department on Monday. This is unacceptable. Then another employee, she works In the kitchen she had her two children in there all over the store.like what type of place is this really? she walked past talking on the phone as I’m standing at the counter and go straight to fixing some food. It happened so quick I know she did not wash her hands. You all need to seriously need to get more staff retrain current staff b/c they don’t give a F about service or that horrible food that they’re serving and I can tell that from all the one star reviews that you all have someone in that store needs to take this seriously. Lastly, on top of all that they got my orders wrong. I wish I was making this up, but unfortunately, I’m not. It was an overall horrible experience and I will be reaching out to corporate as well. Times have changed. Captain D’s was one of my first jobs in high school and back then they did not tolerate poor service. We took pride in the food We served people and the service in how we treated people and we were big on keeping the store clean and this store is none of those things.
