Cutter's (Riverdale) Jamaican Restaurant

Food is okay! I trusted the reviews and kinda disappointed! I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas/plantain/ and cabbage. The chicken is way too spicy/ dry/ under seasoned, the sides were just okay! The best thing was the beef patty!

I got the jerk chicken pasta mild it was so delicious the seasoning was perfect. I also had the curry shrimp plate last week it was delicious as well. Both encounters my food was hot and fresh. This is my new Jamaican Restaurant.

First time we buy from here it was good I wish they have soup too.. this a much better jamaican restaurant. If I was working here I would've decorate more too but they little decoration they have already feel more welcoming.

Best Jamaican restaurant on the south side!!!!! When I come here, I am NEVER disappointed. The jerk chicken is always juicy and the rice and peas with oxtail gravy is chef’s kiss 💋 I appreciate yall foreal.

Update: My husband went up there today and they gave him the 2 dinners that we were supposed to have initially! So, we’re good now! 😊…Their pasta is so delicious! I’ll post pics later.

My husband and I just got home from Cutters! He ordered Jerk Chicken and received oxtails instead. I ordered the shrimp and chicken pasta and only received shrimp in my pasta!

I’m so disappointed because I really wanted jerk chicken and shrimp, not just shrimp! I also paid more for both! I’d like to compensated for this huge mistake.

I tried calling once we got home at 9:55 pm, but no one answered; I’m assuming because they were closing at 10:00 pm.

Other than that, I still liked my pasta it was tasty! My husband doesn’t eat oxtails, but he liked them. But, I still want to be compensated for this mishap.

The Mack and cheese tasted like bob Evan’s heat and serve
The cabbage was actually cold slaw mix.
I was very disappointed in the food and won’t be returning.

Honestly really disappointed. I ordered large brown stew chicken meal with mac & cabbage that took 35 minutes to come out THEN the pieces of chicken were so small & there were only 3 piece on a large plate? 3? & it was no meat mostly bone. The plate was portions were small to be a large meal…. & Mac had no flavor whatsoever & taste like it was sitting in the takeout box all day. Definitely overhyped.

Some highs, some lows- but here’s how it goes:

Curry goat, jerk chicken and sides are freaking amazing. Nicely seasoned, tender meat and veggies are the way to go!

I’m a huge foodie! I like to take risks so I took a risk with the Oxtail Pasta. I thought the oxtail was beautifully made it’s like bone marrow melting on the tongue good. The pasta perfectly cooked. I didn’t like the sauce but this is subjective. It tasted like bbq sauce to me- I would have loved this dish if it were a little lighter. Pasta and meat are heavy but the sauce I wish was a little more delicate and didn’t overpower the others.

All and all, Dragonsky will continue to eat here for the foreseeable future!

Everything was delicious! The food was hot, fresh and seasoned to perfection. The drink selection was great. We got Sorrel and Pineapple Ginger. Everything was soo good!

Let me first start by saying this is the best Jamaican food. I’ve eaten in a long time. I’ve been searching high and low in Atlanta for a good home. Cook ,clean,good vibe ,restaurant. Cutters Restaurant in Riverdale is top notch the Red snapperEstovish Isimply wonderful yams, delicious cabbage the best I’ve eaten ,cornbread so good
I can go on and on they cook with Love. I just found them two weeks ago and I’ve been there four times already and referred my son. He loves it as well. Can’t go wrong with cutter this Jamaican restaurant in
