I was seated quickly, and ordered the French toast combo. The French toast was delicious but I didn't like the eggs, potatoes, and turkey bacon. I had to wait awhile to express this concern to my waiter because he didn't come by. When he did take it back to be fixed it still didn't taste any good so I didn't eat it. When my waiter came to collect the check he asked how was the food and as I was explaining that I didn't like the sides he began to walk away as I was still speaking. He didn't say anything back regarding my feedback. I was better off just buying the French toast by itself and saved the money. Initially, before receiving my food, as I was looking at the menu, I was considering coming back for lunch or dinner since there are many options. However, after my experience I'm not so sure.

The food and service here was gross and when I called to complain the general manager Mary hung up in my face. After telling me I had to bring the food back to get a refund. Not sorry for my experience or that the order was wrong. Or that gas and time was wasted or her staff served this disgusting food while she was on shift. Old cheese and undercook food. Needless to say Mary no worries I will never spend another dime at the Riverdale IHOP. The health department need to be up in there!!

Waited for 10 minutes to be seated. Waited for an additional 10 minutes at our table and was never served. We sat quietly on our phones during the 10 minutes at the table, at which point, one of the servers walked by and said “yeah I’ll be right there, be patient”. We got up and left after that.
The restaurant was not busy whatsoever and there were at least 4 staff members walking around. Very disappointed with our experience.

Waitress Amber P had horrible customer service during our visit today. She didn’t come bank to check on us then bought the bill and never returned to get my card to pay. I ended up just walking to the register to pay. Would not recommend the Riverdale location. I did receive superior service in Conyers and Newnan.
This location has gone down hill. I made an online order and arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time. I checked in and paid for the order. The employee stated that my order would be ready shortly, so I sat and waited. After about 15 minutes another employee pulls an order off the shelf and calls my name. I was pissed because the order had been placed on the shelf for at least 15 minutes and would be cold. At first I was offered a remake. I thought about it and instead opted to just get a refund. This will be my last time going here!

I have to give a big shoutout to Mrs. Mary at the IHOP on Highway 138 in Riverdale. She is the heart and soul of that place! From the moment you walk in, she greets you with warmth, kindness, and true Southern hospitality. Mrs. Mary is not only professional and attentive, but she also makes every guest feel like family.
You can tell she loves what she does—she’s always smiling, checking in, and making sure everything is just right. It's rare to find someone who brings that level of dedication, grace, and genuine care to their work. She made my visit memorable, and I’ll definitely be back because of her.
IHOP is blessed to have Mrs. Mary—shes a true gem.
