Are you serious. This food is discussing. I am appalled the greens were so salty and nasty I thought I was being punked. This can't the real 5 star reviews. I have never did a review but doordash the orders for a total of 80.00 and me or my son couldn't eat that nasty food. I'm so mad I wasted my money trying to support our people. Sitting here with 2 while dinners and still hungry about to order somewhere else smh

The food is not good! The chicken and drink was decent but the green, cabbage, rice and baked Mac was not good at all. I won’t order here ever again.

Mrs V's Kitchen is delicious! I love to go here and grab a bite whether it's one of her delicious chili dogs or wings of burgers. Mrs. V is very friendly and makes me feel welcome every time. Her drinks are great! And that Mac and cheese is divine. So many great choices and your food is always made fresh to order

Their macaroni and cheese was so bomb. I’m going back for more today!

Nasty. Rotten wings and had to wait for an hour cause they gave my food away. My girl actually threw up when she bit one. Never again!

⭐️ LONG BUT HONEST REVIEW ⭐️ For starters let me say I had high hopes for Ms. V’s Kitchen as I’m a soul food fanatic and love to find gems in my area. The first time I ordered through DoorDash I spent $40 and got the turkey wings (they were good but dry & could’ve used some more seasoning to my taste), mac & cheese & candied yams with a fruit punch to drink. I was most excited about the mac & yams only to find out via my Dasher that she ‘ran out of yams’ and I had to choose a substitute. It says online they open from 11am-11pm but in fact they open at 3pm and close at 11pm. I placed my order at 5pm. Not sure how she ran out of yams so quickly with so much of the rest of the day to go.. The Mac & potato salad was good and the fruit punch I loved!! They were very stingy w. the mac tho for what I paid. I was upset I didn’t get my yams as well so I tried again the next day. THIS time I called at 11:36 am to find out if yams were being made, being that I only was going to order again if so. She told me personally she would start making the yams at 1pm & that they open at 3pm. I told her I paid a good amount & not for the small portion of side I had received. She assured me when I placed my order that day, she and her workers would make sure I get a much better portion along w. my yams. 3PM came as I already had my items in the cart ready to place my order. I tried to when DoorDash told me I could only place a timed order as Ms. V wasn’t opening until 4:15 pm. I didn’t know if that was a mistake or what was going on so I called not 1, not 2, but 3 times and none of my calls were answered. I then waited until they finally opened at 4:15pm and immediately placed my order. I was excited bc I knew I was told I would not only get my yams that day but also a better side portion. I ordered the baked chicken (very dry but def more seasoned) instead of turkey wings this time with the same side items and drink. My order arrived around 5:48 pm & the dasher that I get placed w. quite frequently dropped my food off. I opened it to see I was now given 2 sides of Mac w. not a yam in sight. Frustrated I called back to the restaurant at 5:51pm. Ms V spoke to me & told me she not only called me but had the dasher call me as well to tell me the yams ‘weren’t done yet’ & she didn’t want me to wait any longer for my order so she substituted mac for the yams. I did not receive ANY of those calls from either party nor did my dasher mention anything of the sorts when he dropped my food off. That specific dasher has texted me many times whenever an issue comes up with an order I have, so to hear that she AND the dasher both called me multiple times w. no answer on my end I do not believe. I was annoyed bc I not only called in the MORNING to ask about the yams BEFORE I placed my order, but was told they would be started at 1pm only for it to be almost 6pm and supposedly they weren’t finished yet. The whole reason I ever placed a second order was specifically for the yams I didn’t receive the first time. Ms. V apologized and offered to make it up to me by saying she would give me another meal & drink ON HER.. WITH the yams I didn’t get for sure. I work at night so I asked when she would be able to fulfill her promise. She asked at first if I could pick up from her restaurant as I told her I couldn’t bc my car would be gone after 6pm. She then said not to worry she will deliver my meal PERSONALLY when she got a chance. I couldn’t leave the gap of not knowing the time so I asked if it would be late bc I couldn’t do late! I work at night. She said NO and to give her about 2hrs (so around 7pm-ish) Hours went by. I tried to be lenient & gave her some extra time bc I thought she may have gotten busy. I didn’t receive any update, no call or text so I texted her at 9:50pm. I didn’t get a reply back until 10:51 PM... NINE MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING with only the words “on the way now”.
