I took some time and searched through social media, found this spot in one of the comments, got in the car and arrived around 7:30pm (They close at 8pm) - The team was slowly finishing up for the day but we were still being serviced without issues. Driving home the smell of the food got us already excited but once we opened the boxes (secure and dry bag!) there was literally no disappointment. Very flavorful, the turkey meat is falling off the bone, the sweet potato grits (something I never had before and sure will remember for the rest of my life), the green beans and baked beans, even the rice was yummy, it all was really tasty! I am glad we found it and this certainly won’t be the only visit. What you see on the pics: Two wings with sides and drinks; cost us 58$

NOW I am about to BRAG on this place..The food is always GOOD. I order every weekend and sometimes during the week and the owners are very professional and they make sure my food is prepared upon my arrival so it will not be cold. Anyone that has not tried this place you are MISSING OUT. Glad I got 2 meals yesterday so I can enjoy my second meal today…I can’t wait to order next weekend and the sweet potatoes corn muffins are so good. So for anyone dont forget to add them to your order..GREAT PLACE…..

The turkey legs were good. All of the sides were sold out except sweet potato bread and corn on the cob. I think it is a bit overpriced. I paid $43.00 only 2 turkey legs.

When I first went to Turkey on the loose the turkey legs were Big… Juicy and bursting with flavor. Lately during my visits the turkey legs are smaller and dry as if they are giving out legs that were not sold the day before, Do better and get back to how it was before. Stop selling the corn muffins, they were extremely dry and a waste of my $3.75. I threw in the trash can,

This place has been on our food list for a while. Yes, we have a list of food places to visit 😂. Anyways we decided to try turkey on the loose for lunch today and I’m so glad we did. We had the junky leg, junky seafood leg, green beans, sweet potato corn muffin, and strawberry cake. The turkey legs are smoked to perfection!! They are flavorful and have just the right amount of spice. The green beans are delicious! That corn muffin 🔥 The cake? Omggg, just get it. Overall, I give a 10/10 from the service to the food. We will absolutely be back.
PS-This is more of a takeout establishment. They do not take phone orders. Orders are fulfilled in under 15 mins. Parking lot is not the biggest so get there early.

My wife and I went here for the first time. We were not disappointed at all. It actually exceeded our expectations. She had the Jerk leg combo, and I had the leg with the shrimp and crawfish rice. You will not be disappointed. It was truly worth it.
First time there. The staff members were all courteous and nice. The turkey leg was a bit spicy for me although it was delicious.... The rice was wonderful...will be going back again.

The service was really great. She was polite , answered all my questions and politely told me the items they were out of.... which brings me to my next point... I would go earlier in the day and week( im guessing). They were out of quite a few items.. The food was really good and flavourful. I will be back! I have to try the items that were suggested but not instock 😅.

I drove from Louisiana that day to go visit a family member but before I even got there I stopped at Turkey on the loose this is one of the best turkey leg spots that I have ran into other than going into Houston and I believe they got Houston beat as well. My cousin from Louisiana have never had one and I bought her one too and she enjoyed it.
