Food was horrible. The egusi didn’t have any spice or taste. The fufu tasted old and their overall customer service was deplorable. They have poor people skills, was audibly frustrated because I wanted clarity on an order, and was not aiming to satisfy the customer. Never eating here or recommending anyone else either.

The food is delicious, authentic, spacious and clean restaurant. Pleasant staff and great service. And the portion of the killing is generous! 10/10 definitely recommend! I’ll be back!

I’m used to broken rice and they served parboiled rice. $20 for just 3 small pieces of hen dropped in, not cooked in. Rice wasn’t cooked

Awful customer service. Food is terrible. Rude attitude. Too bad we can not give zero stars.

Small eatery with great customer service! Ms. Veronica was very helpful in helping me decide on a soup to try. I ended up getting the Ogbono soup with whiting fish. You have to request it spicy as everyone doesn’t prefer this. The soup was delicious and spicy enough but not too spicy! I went back the next day for the egusi!

I have past by this restaurant so often and have always wanted to try it out, so I did. Needless to say I should have kept passing by it. I ordered the Jollof Rice with Whiting Fish. The rice was not seasoned or prepared right. I could not taste any tomatoes, thyme, pepper or any of the ingredients generally used to make the dish. They gave me 2 small pieces of fish. I paid $17 for basically very small portions. My previous supervisor is Nigerian and she made me spicy Jollof Rice with Beef (cow skin to be exact) and it was sooooooooo good. I thought I would have had that same experience with Sunshine Cuisine. Service was basic. Not very welcoming. Clean environment.

I paid $26 for okra soup and fufu. Dish didn’t have any flavor and was on the cold side. Definitely had buyer’s remorse.

This is a neighborhood gem that is worth visiting! I would have shared photos, but I ate it because it just that good! 😅

First time here, I ordered okra Soup and fufu. I have had okra soup lots of times, their okra soup wasn't done all the way, perhaps they were rushing. Okra wasn't soft at all. First time having crunchy okra. Okra is one of my fav that i enjoy and I know when it’s cooked thoroughly. I will try them again because I feel someone was rushing.

The food was edible but not good. I may be American but I’ve had way better African food. The pounded yam texture felt off compared to other places I’ve been too. The egusi barely had oil and watery. Also it was very small portion for basically 20$.maybe it was off day but ultimately its mid. The food was not made with love, but bless their hearts. Just make the drive to IKES
