I had the stuffed pepper, it was pretty good. The mashed potatoes were luke warm. My wife ordered the pork tenderloin. It was not PT it was a gristley pork cutlet with plain, kinda boring gravy. I was hoping for great Southern cooking, but unfortunately, this was not it.

Anybody posting how delicious this food has got to be a family member. This mess was disgusting! The turkey meatloaf taste like slop the macaroni and cheese was just noodles check cheese and I guess sweet potatoes absolutely disgusting. They shouldn’t be catering and l/or representing the south cooking at all! It smelled good walking in but this is not southern cooking!

What a hidden gem! This local family-owned place is my new go-to for a square meal. There's nothing fancy but the food is down home delicious. This is the best 'meat & two' place in the area. You've got to try the Collard Green Egg Rolls and the cornbread secret recipe is amazing!

My family & I love, love, love the food. The food is cooked with love and perfection. I can't get enough of the delicious cornbread, it is so light & fluffy. Chef Sam & his wife Alice Marie are so warm & loving; they are like family.

I have eaten at Chat and Chew several times and food was always great. The fried fish is best I ever had. Kids can be picky eaters. My son eats all of his veggies and meat from there each time we go. That says alot. Chef Sam is always pleasant and accommodating. Would like to see incentives for frequent diners more often like they had on Groupon. That was an awesome deal. Love this place❤️ I appreciate their sanitation protocol as well.

I have visited the Chat and Chew many times. Every time that I have visited the Chat and Chew, I always get the macaroni and cheese. I do not leave without my sweet potato cornbread!!! .
