This Is It! Southern Kitchen & Bar-B-Q

Greetings! Listen, I've been a customer of This Is It for years. I frequent often at several of your locations throughout the Atlanta area, but here lately the portion sizes are beneath mediocre. I visited this location today and paid $25 for a plate of 1 meat, 2 veggies and two corn muffins. My two sides measured out to be a child's portion size and my rib tips barely even touched the sides where the meat is placed. Unbelievable. One thing I can say for sure is the young lady who served me is definitely doing her job because even when I asked for a little bit more to be added, she said no. I am not a satisfied customer. I'm curious to see if customer service or an apology via management will reassure this post and get invited back for a adult size portion. Come through This Is It. ~respectfully~

This place NEVER has red velvet cake.. I have to go all the way to Union City and that's ridiculous when I live in Riverdale

My only complaint is exceptionally high prices and being charged an additional 3.5% for using debit or credit cards. It costs $50 to feed myself and my girlfriend at a fastfood restaurant!
No wonder so many businesses are going out of business. I will never return to this one again when I can go to much better restaurants and pay less at an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Ms Ava and Santrice gave us amazing on our visit on Sept 30th. They told us places we could visit while we were here and while there wasn't any more collards, the food was hot and excellent. Highly recommended location.

I’m upset. The prices are not consistent. One smothered pork chop and two sides $18. I am on a budget. I saw $15 meals. Oh, that wasn’t one of the choices. I won’t be back ???

The order was wrong. The lady even wrote on the container what sides and still put the wrong sides on the plate. Then she didn't apologize and was arguing with me as if I took the side and hid it somewhere. I will not be doing any business with this location again.

I tried the banana pudding one of my favorite desserts. My first bite was disappointing. I paid $5 for what tasted like a can of filing. There were no cookies /vanilla wafers. On this particular day there was one person in front of us. Please tell me why it took over 30 minutes for desserts. If passing by again will stop just to give the meals a try. Someone ordered fish. The packaging and smell was inviting. They open the box so customers can confirm the order. So, another visit is in the works. Almost forgot I didn't care for the people begging for money in front of the restaurant door. That was a turn off for sure.

NO, IT IS NOT!!! 7.31.24 just spent $52 on a lg banana pudding ($15), 3 whole wings ($11), & a pork chop plate w/mac n cheese & collard greens ($23). I don't regret leaving the 15% tip cos those ladies were just doing their job (in the heat at that, cos there was no ac). I did not enjoy a single item I bought. Some of the lowest quality food I've ever ordered. I was going to go back later for chitterlings but I will never spend another dime @ any location. You've been warned.

My husband and I went in This is it for dessert only today. We ended up getting meals mine was the smothered Pork chops over rice, cabbages, and Mac and cheese. My husband was meatloaf, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes with a banana pudding and strawberry cake. The food did not disappoint. Whomever cook the food did a wonderful job. The peach drink as well was a great refreshment. The staff was very kind and nice. I would give this place a 10/10 for the food, the atmosphere, the staff, and cleanliness. I will return.

Food is usually good. The rice tasted sour and definitely looked suspect. Everything else was good as always. They are definitely over priced especially for a damn veggie plate ($16)

Vegetarian options: I can get meatless veggies that taste great and worth the high azz price
