I love a good "Mom and Pop" restaurant and this one is one of my favorites. The oxtail, the jerk chicken, the stew chicken, the curry chicken..... I enjoy it all. I've been going here for over a decade and I definitely plan to continue.

Hey Chiel

If you did not give this place five stars you are crazy. I got here all the time. This is the best jerk chicken in Atlanta. I don’t care.

Pretty much the worst Jamaican food I ever encountered. Coming from a Jamaican born and raised.

Gentleman is very courteous and welcoming. Curry Chicken patty is delicious with a spicy kick. Beef patty was dry and over flaky- did not seem fresh. Plantains had a strange taste. Food was just ok...

Vegetarian options: Kale and Callaloo, Vegetable Jamican Patty a 2 other options

The best way to explain this place for me would be "7 hour old leftover pizza you forgot to refrigerate." Deep down you know its safe to eat, but science and your mind tells you its bad to enjoy. You cook it up and eat it anyways. Its still good as "expected".At the time they prepared my vegan dish (Sweet and sour sei), I could not help but notice the fact that they placed all of the serving spoons in one container of water, perhaps to keep the spoons clean. Now, I don't make a big deal out of issues like this, but I'm vegan so I don't eat meat or want any milk, butter etc. in my food. And it seemed like the same spoons being used to pick up the other items were being put in that same pot. Maybe they cleaned it before they placed it in the water? Maybe they did not.All I know is that I do not want to think about it. Taste of the food is good. Cabbage was sus though. The establishment needs Ramsey but the people here are not awful.

When I was in town two years ago, I had good food and good service. Last night, I went in, owner spoke, and I stood there 8 MINUTES as he made someone elses order. Another customer walks in, he speaks. Afterwards the 1st thing I ask for he said they were out. I said what do you have so I can make my choice. He said I THINK WE ARE OUT OF EVERYTHING. I said seriously! You couldnt have told me that when I walked in here! The other customer said so you dont have xyz, he goes to the back..comes back and says no we are out. Common sense tells you that customers are there to order food so if you are out of everything, that is what you should right after speaking versus having people stand there. That was the most inconsiderate F your time and the fact most things will be closing soon. For that personally I will NEVER return. For the rest of you..you might want to ask before you go in and just stand there.

This was the worst Caribbean food I’ve had this year! We ordered three different entrées in all three of them were horrible! the rice, in the rice & peas was still raw, the red snapper was tough, dry, which means the fish was old! the cabbage was chewy & had no taste whatsoever. we had chicken roti and the roti shell taste like leather! The oxtails were burnt, and All of the chicken was stringy! I can see if it was one entrees, but all of them! I would never order from them again & my Jamaican ancestors are turning over in their graves!

Don't waste your time, they'll give you old food for a ridiculous astronomical price. Won't ever go back there again. They use to be really good but since the pandemic it hasn't been worth it at all.
