Today I stopped by to order from Dairy Queen for the very first time in my life. While ordering through the drive-thru, I was laughed at over the intercom by staff because I didn’t know Dilly Bars came in a 6-pack, that they offered multiple flavors in them, or that hot fudge sundaes automatically come without nuts. I simply asked questions because I had never ordered there before… and instead of helping, they made fun of me. It didn’t stop there. After leaving, I realized my card had been charged TWICE for the same order. When I called about an hour later to get it fixed, they asked what my order was. I told them, “Y’all should remember since y’all laughed and made fun of me for not knowing the menu.” The manager on shift then immediately repeated my exact order back to me, clearly remembering the situation — yet I still never received an apology. SERVICE WAS RUDE AND UNACCEPTABLE!

Worst Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to. I’ve been here many times over the past few months I’ve lived in Rome, hoping that it would eventually get better but nope. There’s no way the owners aren’t telling the employees to skimp on the mix ins for the blizzards. At first I would order an Oreo blizzard and add cookie dough, my go to order for years. They never added the cookie dough even though I paid for it. And hardly any Oreos. Then I figured okay well since they can’t get that right, I’ll order just a regular Oreo blizzard and pay for extra Oreos. Never got any extra. Tonight I decided to order a large royal fudge brownie blizzard. There was no fudge core, and i counted the brownie pieces. There was 4. 4 brownie pieces in a large blizzard. Either the employees are purposefully trying to get customers to stop coming, or the owners are trying to save money, but either way they are losing business. I’ve heard the Martha berry location is better, I’ll try that one instead or stick to mountain ice cream. Please make the blizzards the way they’re supposed to be and stop ripping off customers.

The cost of the food was the only reason I gave this place a low rating. The food was good. The server was very polite. It was too much for what we ordered. 6 BBQ chicken stripe & 1 hamburger & fries & onion rings were $35+. Too much

I ordered the bacon ranch burger combo. With onion rings. 10/7/25 around noon. I can not believe how much better the food was than our store in Delaware. The bun was fresh fluffy and warm. And the rest of the meal was fresh. You guys have a really great DQ. THE BEST IVE EVER HAD.

They really care about the end result. Great atmosphere among the crew as well.

These guys deserve high praise and possibly a raise or pizza party.

I can’t understand the 4.0 except that I’m in Powell, Ohio. Good luck with them. You guys are fantastic and shame on the haters. Especially the guy who’s crying because they laughed. That’s ridiculous

Gone downhill since opening. Went 9/29 and the man who waited on us had an I don't give a crap attitude from his "greeting". I ordered my DQ standard of 2 hotdogs with slaw and onions only. You no longer have slaw? changed to dogs with chili and onions. Received chili dogs with cheese only. Receipt was correct, order was not. went to order 2 Sundaes only to discover you don't have wet walnut topping. The woman who waited on me this time had the same IDK attitude. When I told her we'll not be back she just shrugged her shoulders. The owners have lost this franchise in the couple of years it's been open. Have considered selling the franchise to an Indian National? Probably would improve the customer exprience. we won't be back.

They charge 1.00 for a small container of ranch dressing. Come on now. I can see .25 but 1.00. And the service is not that great.

Rude owner, lazy staff and I swear the ice cream tastes like they churn it out of the toilet at times! Avoid this DQ and head to the Martha Berry location! P.S. Check out their health score at this Shorter location, sometime! 🤮

Went to shorter avenue rome ga location. We ordered a peanut buster parfait. It tasted like a whole salt shaker was in both of ours! Terrible! Took it back inside to the ordering cashier.. told him the issue. He just said “ok. So we wasted our money and terrible customer service on top of that! They watched us throw it away and leave.. never offered to remake it! We will not return to this location!
