Ate dinner here on Friday, 19 September 2025. I thought the steak was seasoned better than Texas Roadhouse. My husband & I split a 12oz NY strip, which came with 1 side. We added another side & 2 salad bars. Meal came to around $55, which is very reasonable.
We got there about 6:00 pm. They had a good crowd, but it wasn't packed.
Justin was very attentive & was a great server. We will definitely be back.

Used to hangout at john henrys bites and brewery. but then they put a sign up about outside food at bites and brewery. I dont go there for them. I go there for the beer. I shouldn't be hindered to drink my beer because I dont want to pay 20 dollars for a sandwich I can get elsewhere for half the price.

We visited here for my daughter‘s birthday. Everything we ate was delicious. Cornbread was wonderful, and the collard greens were Very tasty. The salmon and hamburgers were amazing.. Angela had amazing customer service. This is a must visit when in the city of Rome.

Food and drinks were very good, fairly priced too! But the service was awful. Host sat us down and then we waited at least 25-30 mins before our waitress finally noticed us and took our drink orders. She did however quickly bring us complimentary cornbread which was delicious and our appetizer took barely any time at all to come out. She did disappear again after this which made us wait even longer to order and then wait for our food. The rest of the meal went smoothly but there was no one to be found when waiting for the check. Other tables had been neglected too. Overall not bad but could be better.

They had $2 wine and beers. Can't beat that. Small but good menu. The okra was crispy just how I like it. Delicious loaded potato soup.

What an absolutely delicious find! A great atmosphere, friendly staff, and WONDERFULLY AMAZING FOOD! The John Henry pizza was fantastic! Not a very big pizza, but it was quite filling and tasty! Their cornbread is so moist and delicious! Everyone in our group was VERY PLEASED with their meals. It is located in downtown Rome so it can be tricky to find a parking spot so do be aware of that, but even if you do have to park a little bit away, you still get to stroll through the lovely downtown area!

It is best to go on busy days when the cornbread is hot and fresh. They have the best, the biggest fresh salad bar. The cornbread is to die for when it is fresh. Great restaurant. We also like the brisket tacos
