We had an absolutely lovely birthday dinner for my daughter;) I had not been to La Scala in many years. It was always a nice place to have dinner. My daughter lives in Rome I live in Cartersville. I absolutely would drive regularly from Cartersville to Rome to have a lovely dinner at La Scala. I've told so many friends. The food was fantastic absolutely Chef worthy ,our server was impeccable he was knowledgeable, friendly, and took care of our table and several others with wonderful finesse . I usually don't write such long reviews, but I really really really enjoyed our meal there in our time. I would definitely go back and I suggest anybody else do so too.

The food and variety were excellent. They were very accommodating to our food allergies and sensitivities. My only complaint was that there were a lot of obnoxiously loud patrons. We were in a small alcove and some were annoyingly loud such that we could barely carry on a conversation. Maybe have an area for tables of 3 would fix that. The service was excellent.

La Scala is one of our favorite Italian bistros for special occasions. The food is always consistently good and the service is great. We've been there 6 times and it never disappoints.

Always enjoy our meals at La Scala. Rarely disappointed in anything, and often truly surprised by one or two dishes. Service is always quite friendly, and enough. The off menu specials are the treasures here. And they make one of the best whole fish I've had outside of the Mediterranean.

I believe all would enjoy eating here. Do expect it to be a little pricey for Rome. The food was excellent. Service was just right. It has a clean and comfortable environment. The womens bathroom needs better lighting. I highly suggest you not get the Washington oysters. When they were brought to the table, we had to do a double take to see if there were actually oysters in the shell. They were about the size of a dime and that is being generous. My husband said they didn't taste that good either but I'm sure they are those who like the taste. If you want a great martini, get the melon mint one. We will definitely eat there again, we just won't make the oyster mistake again!
We've dined here several times and love it. Food is excellent. Wait staff are great. They are knowledgeable about the menu. They were very busy this visit and the dining room was loud. This was not La scala's fault. Just several loud parties. Luckily they cleared out about the time we got our main dishes and it was very nice. 10/10 recommend

Visited familiy in Rome. Our server, Mikayla, was awesome! Knowledgeable and attentive. The appetizers, salads, and entrees were delicious! Three of us had fish - trout, halibut, and grouper - excellent!!!! The Ahi Tuna Nachos and Duck prosciutto crostini were great! The pear salad and Cesar salad were very tasty. Wine and drinks were well done!! Bravo La Scala! Thanks for a great evening!!

Everything was delicious. The portions were so large we had to take some home! Our server was very attentive and helpful. We were visiting from the Atlanta area and surprised but their reasonable prices for such quality dining.

Price gouging at it's worst. Not what we expected. There is no excuse for the prices they charge for the food served. There were too many things gone wrong for me to list, but here are a few. 1. Clean ceilings and fixtures of the dirty dusty webs. 2. I asked for a scotch neat but got it with a ton of ice. When I pointed this out, they took the drink away but brought me back same drink minus the ice.. all watered down. Presentation and food temperature was not right. Almost $7 an oyster, they were good but not worth that price. This is upscale done wrong.
