We had an absolutely lovely birthday dinner for my daughter;) I had not been to La Scala in many years. It was always a nice place to have dinner. My daughter lives in Rome I live in Cartersville. I absolutely would drive regularly from Cartersville to Rome to have a lovely dinner at La Scala. I've told so many friends. The food was fantastic absolutely Chef worthy ,our server was impeccable he was knowledgeable, friendly, and took care of our table and several others...
The food and variety were excellent. They were very accommodating to our food allergies and sensitivities. My only complaint was that there were a lot of obnoxiously loud patrons. We were in a small alcove and some were annoyingly loud such that we could barely carry on a conversation. Maybe have an area for tables of 3 would fix that. The service was excellent.
La Scala is one of our favorite Italian bistros for special occasions. The food is always consistently good and the service is great. We've been there 6 times and it never disappoints.
