Best food, best service. Recommend the jumbo burrito

The food here is SO GOOD!! I used to love a popular Mexican restaurant in Rome that recently closed. After that restaurant closed, it left me needing to find a new favorite spot. Some of the more popular spots in Rome just aren't what they used to be. Food quality has suffered and leads to a super disappointing meal every visit. I thought to try Las Mesas and I'm so glad I did! Food is super fresh, tasty, and service is great! Totally worth the short drive to the Armuchee area to try, I promise you will not be disappointed!

Food was outstanding fast service and good food. Prices were not too bad very clean place to eat.

The waitress was not so nice. The food was about the same as any other Mexican place.

Visited with the entire family on a Friday for lunch. Not busy at all. Quiet. Sadly, this was just so disappointing at so many levels. Let’s be clear- this is Mexican food and not haute cuisine so shouldn’t be hard to pull off. Let’s start with service. The waiter with the crazy haircut! Learn some customer service skills!!! It’s basic. Be polite and attentive and not hang and chat with the other servers while ignoring clients. And don’t be irritated at your customers when they ask for more chips. It’s pretty normal in a Mex restaurant. Food. Oh my- bleh at best! Beef tacos were COLD in the middle. Cold! Burrito, cold. The chili rellano was truly a disaster of a glop of cheese, slimy pepper not fried appropriately. Food came out in stages. Had to send out a search party for a couple of items. Let’s be clear! This was not a tough order. Not busy. Plenty of staff. Owners/managers teach customer service and teach your line cooks how to cook!!! Customers. Stop accepting mediocre food from these establishments! We’ve all gotten lazy as consumers and business owners!

Went here on a Sunday for Lunch. Our server was Aly. She was the WORST server EVER!!! The service here is HORRIBLE. The food is meh at best. The margaritas were pretty good although they were out of frozen margaritas (imagine that!). The server had attitude the ENTIRE time we had lunch. She even spilled a glass of water all over the table and didn't even APOLOGIZE. And even got incensed when I asked her to heat my food up in the microwave because it was COLD. The worst! Don't go here! There are literally like a 1000 Mexican restaurants in the area. Find another one is my advice!
