I grew up about 10 miles away but had never been here. Just visited on a trip back to town and I’m just sad of all the times I could have eaten here but didn’t. Exactly what a real bbq joint should be (minus one political sign they should probably remove)
This is our go to! The bbq is good (not the best I’ve ever had) but always solid! Not a huge fan of their sauce (dark, sweeter sauce) but it’s not bad. A lot of times when I order takeout, I get it without sauce, then add my own at home.

I have been thinking about stopping in for the last couple of weeks but been busy and I haven't been in years so wasn't sure if it was the same or not. I had the sampler platter with pork, chicken, beef and ribs. It comes with two sides and I chose corn nuggets and fries with cornbread.
