The staff could definitely be worked on, we saw our waitress three times when she took our order, dropped the food off and then for the check at the end. The food is great I guess I’ll just get Togo from now on since the service isn’t good

This has been our favorite Mexican restaurant in Rome for more than a decade! The food is always delicious with fair portions and the prices are very affordable for great quality food and service.
Waitress was horrible which is surprising because she’s usually okay. Food was WORSE, in a to go box to feed to my dog, honestly. Told them about the issue & they laugh & smirk, said “oh well” & shrugs their shoulders. Will NOT be back. They lose a family of 8 that spends a TON each time we go. We can find somewhere much better than a ran down restaurant that is making awful food.

Everyone needs an inexpensive Mexican restaurant for nights you just don't want to cook or want a lunch better than fast food. This is a good one. Food is usually quick to arrive and the wait staff is friendly. My favorite lunch item is the burrito supreme that I order with black beans instead of beef. I think the salsa is made in-house, it varies a lot. Last time I went the salsa wasn't great but it's almost always better than average.
Vegetarian options: I order items with black beans instead of beef, not sure if that really counts as vegetarian or not.
