Had a great time! The atmosphere and service were great, and the drinks were fantastic!
Parking was complicated. Google said they were open and they weren’t so we left. I can’t speak to the food but I won’t be going back based on the location.
Since the new ownership, this once-great spot has gone downhill—food is often unavailable, drinks have worsened, and service is poor. It’s a shame, given its charm.
I have always had good experiences at Off Broad for dinner, so we decided to give brunch a try today for a friend’s birthday. It was a terrible experience. The waitress told us they couldn’t serve several menu items. That was disappointing but not a deal-breaker. After an hour of waiting for our food, we asked for an update and she told us that the cooks had not shown up and her manager was having to make our food. She apologized and said she thought we would be able to entertain each other until it came out, but that it was almost done. Keep in mind we were one of only two tables in the whole place. When our food finally arrived, it was terrible. Several of us had ordered the breakfast bowl that they had posted photos of on their Instagram page. What we received was a bowl of cold French fries with cold eggs, cold bacon, and brown avocado on it. This apparently took over an hour to make. I asked why it was fries and not the potatoes that were advertised and was told “it is the same thing, just cut differently.” Well, it isn’t. I know what fries look like. I am really not a complainer and never send food back, but I politely told our server that I was not going to eat it because it’s not what they advertised and it was cold. All of my friends’ food was just as bad. Thankfully they did not charge me for the food I didn’t eat. I do feel bad for the server because it wasn’t her fault. But if you do not have the staff to operate the kitchen and make the food in the menu, you should not have the restaurant open. We would have happily gone somewhere else. We were all very disappointed and won’t be back.
When I walked in, 7 pm.
I told my friends good choice, what a nice place, not lying more than 30 min To get our drinks and it is 8/27 Pm and we haven’t gotten our food.
Believe it not a complainer, but I had to leave q review, so you know.
We were traveling and I chose this restaurant on a whim. We were pleasantly surprised when we realized it was part of the Hawthorn hotel we used to stay at when our daughter was in college. We quickly noted that the place was full of larger groups of people seated on couches and other cozy spaces for hanging out. The atmosphere just seemed friendly. Our waitress, Lisa, quickly let us know we were in for a treat. She had moved to the area from New York and considered the food as good or superior to other fine restaurants. We hoped she was right! We started with an Old Fashioned and some Brussels sprouts. My husband still makes the best Old Fashioned, but the Brussels sprouts with the fried pork belly and the perfect touch of chipotle were some of the best we've tasted. We split a wedge salad and then I had the braised pork chop served on polenta with a lovely vegetable medley of Brussels sprouts and carrots — delicious! — while my husband ordered the salmon — also quite tasty but not as good as mine! Is any meal complete without something sweet at the end? Not possible according to my husband!!! He ordered the chocolate chip lava cake, which was more of a chocolate chip “blondie” with ice cream. Still very good, but not what we expected. But overall, we had a wonderful dinner and were very pleased with the excellent service we received — never too much but enough to feel “seen.” We won't hesitate to stop there again if we're in the area! Oh! And the portions were so large we have plenty of leftovers for a nice repeat meal!
Food is outstanding. Have eaten here twice now. Best food and menu selection that I have found in Rome, GA. The road outside is noisey, but its not too bad. Everything else makes up for that.. :-)
Food was great service was a little slow. We will definitely visit this restaurant next month.
I give this restaurant a 10/10. Everything was very beautiful! Food was absolutely delicious! Staff was friendly and prompt. Would love to go back anytime.
After traveling several hours for our stay, I went and waited at the please wait to be seated sign. I was passed by, after a short while I sat in the seating available to wait in. During the duration of over 20 minutes I had employees walk by me numerous times, and not one person asked if I needed to be seated or place an order. Maybe it was because I am in comfy clothes, a hat, and UGGS? We traveled several hours only for me to be ignored over 30 mins now waiting to be acknowledged to place an order or be seated. I’ve even had time to complete this post and two people walked by while typing this. Attaching a photo as well. No courtesy or service. Horrendous!

Great food and amazing drinks! Would definitely recommend to someone looking for a hidden gem in Rome.
Our steaks, salmon, and chicken were great! Our server kept our drinks filled and made sure we were taken care of.
This was my first time experiencing this restaurant on Valentine's Day. I came to this restaurant by myself enjoying Valentine's Day, and the staff/server took very well care of me. I'm very pleased. food was fantastic! Hope to be back again one day.
Great dinner out server was Attentive knowledgeable and polite, Ambiance was soft glow romantic and beautiful, food was top notch. We will definitely be back.
I got shrimp & grits, truffle fries, pecan pie, and cheesecake. The only part of my meal I enjoyed was the pecan pie. I knew that the shrimp & grits were going to be semi spicy. But... It was so spicy I couldn't eat it. I couldn't even taste the shrimp or grits. That's how spicy it was. It also had a whole lot of oil in it. The truffle fries were cold and soggy like they had been sitting for some time. It was my 1st time eating there, and my last. It was a waste of $67.00. Other items on their menu may be great but the shrimp & grits were not.
