We were staying at the Hawthorn and almost didn't eat here after reading recent reviews. We made a reservation so we were seated immediately. The stuffed jalapeños were delish and definitely had a little heat. The ribeye, garlish mash, asparagus and polenta were great. The pork chop and vegetables were kinda meh. The brownie was ok but just didn't seem fresh. Allana was great. Bill was pricey.

Unfortunately, after 45 minutes of waiting, our food came out cold, sides and meat. The flavors of the food were unbalanced, I expected more for a $45 dish. Our waitress was MIA most of the time. Good drinks but overall disappointing experience.

I ordered 6 lemon pepper wings and was given 3 larger whole wings overly seasoned with lemon pepper and uncooked. The serving staff and bartender Kat were awesome. I do think for future the menu which gives six as an option should be changed as people expect what's on the menu to be what they get. It's called customer service.

I used to go here. The lemon martinis were good. We had a good ribeye once as well. I think it changed management or ownership. Hours are reduced. We had hoped to go for a date recently. Now I'm glad it was closed. My mom went tonight and her GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH was $22 because they charged a "table fee" for her small group to sit in an unused breakfast buffet space. Lol. Skip this spot, unless you're sitting at the bar- hopefully they haven't started charging to sit there.

I feel the food is more about visual appeal more than taste. And manager Daniel let's the server's drink there the whole shift ?. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy unless they want a nice view, drunk servers and mediocre food that's 250% over priced.

Absolutely Horrible. Had a reservation and waited 2.5 hours for our food, and another 40 minutes for our tickets after we were done eating. Paid $40 for a little bit of mashed potatoes, asparagus and a tiny slice of salmon. Fries were absolutely inedible and tasted old on top of that. Paid way too much and waited way too long when I could’ve gotten a way better meal at or even at the nearest burger joint. Such a horrible experience and waste of time for the build up. A highly underwhelming experience in every aspect. Absolutely disgraceful. Good Customer service tho. Will definitely NOT be going again and wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.
Beautiful restaurant, cool vibes, unfortunately the service was super slow, took at least 30 minutes before we received our drink order, they didn't even take our dinner order until we had been there for almost an hour, took a long time for food to come out, and when it did, they brought our appetizers and dinner at the same time, which was frustrating. To top it all off, our steaks were overcooked. Again, beautiful restaurant but we were there so long we felt like we were going to be stuck to the chairs if we stayed there any longer lol... interestingly, the couple that was seated next to us almost an hour after we were seated- they received their dinner before we did, had dessert and seemed to have great service. We were never offered dessert, the check was just set on the table for us. Our server was very friendly.

This place isn’t what it used to be. The last time I was here, we ordered food and it never came. They shut the kitchen down and said they couldn’t do anything about it. Tonight we ordered drinks and 30 minutes later they never arrived so we left.

This place needs some serious work. Their management is terrible. Just recently everything has crumbled down and i hope it does not get worse for their sake. But their hiring manager “Natalie”( rude ) + other managers have turned down many people who wanted to work there and I have had family members eating there while multiple staff walks out and quits mid shift. The environment should be better than that for the people who are working there. The owner of this place really needs to look into the higher up staff of this restaurant/ hotel for his sake. The service of this place used to be amazing. All of the new staff/management made this place a wreck. Bring back the way it used to be, people used to enjoy coming and spending money and supporting your business, but now with these managers that are suddenly trying to control everything, in reality they are making it to where no one wants to eat here. But best wishes for this establishment.
