Ate here for the first time today with my boyfriend and we will absolutely be back! The food and atmosphere were wonderful, but what really made out day was how kind and attentive our waitress Sam was. I would absolutely recommend this place to our family and friends!
We were passing through Rome last night and stopped for dinner at Provino’s. The servers were friendly but the food was mediocre at best. We ordered spaghetti. I had meatballs and my wife ordered meat sauce. The sauce and meatballs were very old and dried out. I’m shocked that a kitchen would plate dried up meatballs and not even stir the sauce before putting on the pasta. It was very obvious it had been cooked several hours earlier and sat in the pot. Fabulous freshly made Italian comfort food. Friendly attentive customer service. The building itself is showing it's age but is clean. I dropped the rating by one star because what Italian restaurant doesn't offer bruschetta!?!?!? Oh, BTW the homemade garlic rolls are to die for.
