The food was super super super good and the servers were really nice and friendly would definitely come back.
Maybe it’s just lunch but every time family has went here it’s been meh. Server didn’t understand anything about the drink menu and couldn’t even verbalize what beer they had. Food was just “okay”
This place is an amazing ! The food is not only excellent but also offers great value, with generous portions at reasonable prices. I highly recommend the bento box, it's packed with all my favorites in one box and is definitely a steal for the price. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the exceptional service. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make every visit a pleasure. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant!
Love this place! Went during lunch and had the buffet plate, it was awesome. The owner is so sweet and respectful. I totally recommend to anyone trying to find their new favorite restaurant!!

Change the name of the Pearl Harbor Shrimp Bomb. It is shameful and offensive. So is the Sinking Titanic Roll.
We have enjoyed Ru Sans for nearly 20 years. My wife's favorite sushi in town.
I have visited different Ru Sans in Atlanta since 1999. This may have been my last time.
i ordered from Door Dash and did not receive part of my order which is the fault of rusan as the dashers are not alllowed to open the bags with the food to see what it in it. I called the restaurant that the person I spoke basically called me a liar as she said she knows all the food was there and then hung up on me. I order two sushi rolls and a tiger shrimp appetizer and spring rolls. Also one of my rolls as supposed to have unagi and there was only cream cheese and avacado. What i received in the bag was the sushi rolls, the spring rolls and 2 quarts of soup that I did not order. Last time i will order from there as they would not make the order right
Honestly this place deserves no stars, but this is the only way I could post!
Okay I really wish I could post the video!… on May 8th my spouse and I went on a date night and Ru Sans was the place. We got there and immediately got seated, got the menus to look over the food menu, and settled.
Let’s now start with the first issues!
1. Cups has food residue on them and we asked for another, no worries right?!…. Wrong! I opened my silverware and they were dirty as well, we then flagged the waitress for plastic ware.
2. The waitress knew us because we been a few times previously and sometimes my spouse would go on dinner date for herself alone. So she knew a bit about the regular meal. Not gonna lie, the waitress tended more to my spouse, but that’s not too bad to worry about. The food did not taste the same and some of it tasted old… like freezer burned.
3. Got “to go plates” for leftovers and waitress never got us bags and then we got the “to go” order in the bag before we left. (I’m super excited because it’s the “spicy udon noodle soup” well here goes the story.
I come down from Buford, Ga by the way, I like Rome it has some hidden gems there. I wasn’t expecting this type of disgrace though! We get to the hotel and in about 2 hours I just wanted to taste the broth from the soup… but idk… why spinach was added to the soup, I’ve never seen it in there. Well I just had to see what else so I stirred it up some and this was floating!!! Yup a roach! A pregnant roach!!! After vomiting from the contaminated food I was about to consume, I called the restaurant. Spoke with the manager and I insisting since it was close to closing if he could stay so I could bring the food back.
I took the food back to the restaurant. I told him, please open it! So he could see and know I didn’t nothing to the food! He did state afterwards, “I believe you”… my face looking shocked because we just spent $66 and change and you know you got roaches!! He offered to give credit or remake the food!… “who?!” Hell no! At the point I just wanted to go! It was storming and I was a bit upset. Well come the next day, my spouse ask how much did I give the waitress as a tip? I responded, $5.00 because of the issues earlier. My spouse then states there was a $10 taken out instead… wtf?… I called again trying to rectify the many issues, asked for full refund!… the manager agreed. At this time I had returned back to Buford so I needed to drive 2 hours back to Rome. Got there to see the manager on May 10 by 230… there was a large poster on the door saying, “apologize for the inconvenience, but will not be opening until 3 due to short staffed.” Which we stayed and watched many people coming to the restaurant upset that is not open. Stayed until 340 actually! Well at 320 we noticed movement in the window there the manager is laying in the booth on his back playing on the phone! Mind you! He knew of my travel down and I called about 7 times! 3 before making it to Rome and the rest sitting right in front of the restaurant. I said I wasn’t going to post this to try to figure this out by just giving our full refund. But here we are!… I’m moving forward with this post! I would definitely want someone from the company to contact me about these matters! Because not only am I dealing with contaminated food, we have stolen money and you want to avoid me?!… I demand a solution!

I have been here 10 times and they were closed 9 of those time. I’ve given up trying to eat here even though it was good the one time they were actually open. Wish I knew why they’re never open.
They have a few vegan options labeled on the menu. The sushi (we got avocado roll and veggie tempura roll) was just okay, nothing out of the ordinary. Honestly, everything else was pretty bland and I have no desire to eat there again. Updated from previous review on 2024-12-23
I had to custom order a dish because there were no decent options on the menu. I got a soup bowl with vegan miso, tofu & udon noodles. It was awful! No flavor whatsoever. The broth tasted like hot water. FYI-this restaurant smelled like they just cleaned up a dead body. It reeked of a putrid smell and a very strong chemical smell. Disgusting.
