Oh my gosh, they really do have the best hamburger! This was our first time eating here and it was soooooo good. I had the Samburger with American cheese and it was perfect. I'm hesitant to order anything made with ground beef at a restaurant because most cooks can't cook it well done without turning the outside into a piece of charcoal; but not here. It was cooked to perfection; and the cheese was melted just right. Plus, the waitress was very nice and took me seriously when I said I'm allergic to onions. When my food came out, there were no onions or onion powder on anything on my plate. My husband had the hamburger steak and it was cooked perfectly as well. It looked so good and he said it was! We asked about a discount for veterans, but found out the discount is only available for active military, so something to remember if you are a veteran.

I met my Mom and Sister here for lunch before going to the Movie's at Berry Square and everything was great! The service, the food, the wonderful Veterans that were eating around us and the super nice owner that checked on us twice to make sure everything was perfect! Not sure what happened to the best in Georgia hamburger, but we did not get it. We ordered the small $12 hamburger and fries and it was not at all what we expected it was a small pattie on a very large bun. I am sure the bun is also for the large hamburger they offer. The tomato did not even have any taste and was dry. This August in the middle of tomato season. I am not exaggerating that it was a one star hamburger. Will not be returning.
Customer service was fine and the french fries were good. Hamburger was not worth even going into the restaurant.

This is a new place but they cannot get your order correctly. And most the time your food's cold because you have to wait on them. Now the breakfast is real good. Their lunch and dinner is going to need a lot of work. I had one of the chicken sandwiches. It was okay but it was dry.

When in Rome Sam's is definitely worth a visit. Great burgers and southern style dishes in a unique atmosphere. During our last visit the service was very slow although that is not typical and hopefully not a trend.

Great place good food and my server was Hannah she was very friendly and polite made my day.
Saturday evening around 6 p.m. and only about 10 customers in the restaurant, cook must’ve had a bad evening: 1) our fried okra was cooked to a deep burnt brown and glistening with grease. 2) corn bread was dry and crumbly as if it had been sitting out all day 3) chicken and dumplings and country-fried steak were almost room temperature, 4) none of the veggies or meats had any distinctive flavor. Service was okay enough for a 15% tip. Server did get us another order of okra, which was cooked just right. Server forgot to get us butter for the crumbly cornbread until late in the meal. Server did remember to apply veteran discount. We felt bad for the server who had extra work to get us some decent okra from the kitchen.

Food was amazing as well as most of the staff we encountered. Will definitely be returning here. Best burgers we've had. Husband got a bacon cheesy burger (not pictured) and it was well worth the price. If you get the spicy fries, they do indeed have a kick of heat to them.
