We absolutely love this place. I am not sure which is better the service or the food. They would get 5 stars on Atmosphere but under not fault of their own it is just way to small for the amount of people who try to cram in here. The fired shrimp and fish are the best. No an ocean person the Philly and burgers are delicious. No red meat the chicken Philly is one of my favorites. You just can't go wrong with whatever you decide to eat. Come try it once. That's all it will take. Understand though they are always packed. Once you try it you will understand. 😁

We had grilled fish and shrimp with red beans and rice, fries, hushpuppies, and chicken. Jacob gave us the best service I've had in a very long time! He let us sample the gumbo, brought us our drink cups while we were deciding and was on point until the end with the entire restaurant. Our plates included a salad and grilled peppers and onions as well. Food was good and we had leftovers.

My first time eating here, my husband's second (he is formerly from Rome). Fast casual dining by ordering and paying at the register and find a table. A generous menu choice was available with very reasonable prices. Today, both of us ordered fish/fries with hush puppies and coleslaw. The owner found out it was my first time and insisted on giving us a complimentary appetizer of fried green tomatoes. Here are my thoughts and observations... the restaurant was busy and very clean (the restroom was clean too). Their staff was welcoming, friendly and efficient. Service was fantastic. Our order came out quickly with no mistakes. The fried green tomatoes were very good! I didn't even have to request ranch dressing!! The only suggestion this Southern girl offers is to cut the slices slightly thicker:) Our fish/fries were hot. His hush puppies were hot and My coleslaw was perfectly fresh with not too much mayo! What a nice treat it was when one of the staff had a tray of delicious cheesecake mini bites offering them to all the guests. I had the chocolate-caramel bite and my husband chose the plain cheesecake bite. My to-go box was enough for another meal. We will 100% come back and 100 % recommend Sam's Southern Eatery. Always Support Local.

The staff is so friendly and act like they really enjoy their jobs. The food is very affordable, delicious and always hot. This is definitely the best seafood in town!
