We went to eat on their anniversary night. It was packed . Everyone worked really hard and was smiling. We were seated and our waitress was different. She brought us the wrong food then argued that it was what we ordered. Things turned around when we met Collin. He apologized and said that he wanted us to have a good experience and come back. He said he worked for some good people and he didn’t want our bad experience to keep us away. From that point on he kept coming and asking...
4.7 stars. Cool vibe and good lunch selections. Opted for the French Dip and we weren’t disappointed at all. Served quickly on warm crusty roll with the temperature of the meat perfectly melting the cheese. Au jus cup of sauce also nice and hot and delicious flavor. Not overly salty as in many other places. Good service by Jesse too. It hit the spot ! It’s popular for a good reason. See for yourself.
I've been coming to Schroeder's since 1981 and today was no different! This is my comfort food!?? Wonderful server today (I wish I could remember her name) enjoyed sitting on the Broad Street patio. If you're visiting Rome, it's a must stop!!! Thanks John!!!
