Interesting menu, well priced. Its a college town, so value and revolving staff are to be expected. Broad street is worth a stroll, three blocks of (mainly) food and drink places. We had dinner, which was fine. Ribeye for me, salmon for my wife. She declared the salmon excellent. My ribeye was ok, sides were too. I was served wine that was 'off', but it didn't appear on the bill. Our order was confused in the kitchen and rather late, but the response was correct and hey, mistakes happen.Nice menu, solid wine list, good value in an attractive space.

No doubt this is the highest quality and best tasting food in Rome. Been here for aver 2 months on business and eat out twice each day. My go to is the chili salmon with broccoli, rice and a side of brussel sprouts. Sooooo good. I’d give 6 stars if I could! Great friendly service too. Consistent great food and service.

Go regularly for Sunday brunch. Always excellent. Friendly and competent service. Excellent Bloody Marys that are garnished with bacon. What more could you want.

As usual, the food was excellent and the drinks perfect with great atmosphere. The ladies had scallops, cooked perfectly. Beef ribs super tender with lots of flavor. And honey glaze sauce over salmon was said to be quite tasty! The spice mix over the seafood dip appetizer was just a bit salty but the drinks easily took care of that.

Quality service at the bar even with the heavy crowd. Food was on. Steak a little under done, BUT that is ALWAYS better than over done. Will be back again and very excited to try the weekend brunch.

Really well done. I usually don't review restaurants and tend to have maybe too high expectations when eating out. Everything from the playlist to the setting and of course the food. Exceeded expectations. Highly recommend.

If you love to do brunch, this is your new favorite spot. This was my second time to patron this establishment. Yet, here are some amazing things I love about Bistro 208 thus far.The Food: Yes, this is obvious however, coming from a foodie, when you want to eat all of your food and there’s too, you have something special cooking (see what I did there)The Atmosphere. Nothing goes better with good food than a great experience. Well, maybe good drinks. But I’ll get to that next. One of the advantages and disadvantages of being a former server is your level of critiquing customer service is more sensitive than most. We can be very empathetic when a server is in the weeds or extremely critical when we feel our money and presence isn’t honored.I promise the above will never be the situation here. Every server I’ve experienced didn’t only have a warm and welcoming disposition, their level of professionalism with handling my food, additional request, and boxing my food was more than I expected from a restaurant in Rome.I typically experience this level of service in to the metro Atlanta area rather than Floyd county. I was deeply impressed. The Drinks: Brunch would not be brunch without mimosas, right?I recommend ordering the pitcher of mimosas. Initially I assumed we’d order another. It didn’t appear to have a high quantity when we started. However, by the end of brunch, we had poured at least three rounds each. It was perfect.Thank you Bistro 208 for the amazing experiences.I’ll be back soon.

Sunday brunch: a little loud, crowded and chaotic.... The restaurant was packed. We waited initially to be acknowledged at arrival but could see all staff hustling. We almost left, so glad we stayed. The entire staff were attentive, fantastic shrimp and grits . Pitcher of mimosas was perfect.

The chicken francaise-oh my word! Best chicken I have ever had. The sauce is incredible! We love eating here- but last night was so good I had to leave a review. I usually come for their amazing kale, but they were out last night. The Brussels made up for it. Delicious!! Some of the very best food in Rome, for sure!
