Don't walk, run from this place!! I got he baby back ribs & they were nothing but fat & still very pink! The wife got a grilled chicken salad & the chicken was so dry, she could barely eat it! Hope your food comes out better than ours but for us......... we're one & done!! Not going back

Shocking Experience – Health Concern Visited: 7/13/25 @ 8:40 PM Location: Shane’s – Rome, GA
I brought my mom and sister to dine in for dinner expecting a good meal and experience. Unfortunately, what unfolded was incredibly disappointing and concerning.
Upon receiving our food, my mom noticed a large oriental cockroach nearby. She immediately notified the cashier—who offered no response or action. As we looked down, we saw multiple cockroaches crawling around the dining area. When we informed another staff member while packing up to leave, she casually said, “They knew.”
This was not only disturbing, but extremely unprofessional and unsanitary. I’ve never encountered anything like this in a restaurant setting. Needless to say, we will not be returning.
I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the issue promptly—for the safety of other customers and the integrity of your brand.

Have been a Shane's patron for over 15 yrs. Today's visit wasn't pleasant. Restaurant very hot. I normally have to wear a sweater in air conditioning, but their felt like it was broken. Asked why so warm and was told new owner doesn't want high power bills. The food was still good. Servers were pleasant, but the atmosphere needs improvement.

Shane's is always good for that quick barbeque fix. Good is consistently good. As a seasoned chain, it's not where you're going to find that out-of-this-world barbeque, but it's a safe bet, and usually quick.

The worst excuse for slow service. Told it would be sbout 30-35 minute wait to get bbq sandwich and fries. Told not enough workers in the kitchen. There were multiple orolpe who left before they ordered when they were told of the wait time. We were not even crowded.

They have huge cockroaches!!! They are all over the wall in the back by the drinks and once we saw it was had to get out of there!!! Idk why there are these big bugs in a restaurant! It was just very nasty! The owner said how can he contact me but I can't respond to the post. Anyway I don't know what the reach out is for the roaches are still an issue.

My first time eating here and I'll definitely be back. Being gluten free, you learn to make adjustments when ordering. I asked the waitress to simply leave off the bun on my burger and didn't expect what followed. A cook actually visited our table and consulted with me about my allergy. They have protocols in place for food allergies! This level of care was surprising to me for a restaurant in the south where it seems like most dining establishments simply don't care.

I ordered a bacon and cheese potato and my potato was cut down the center but no cheese was in it just set on top of it the food used to be good to get but this is disappointing I would recommend Jim and nicks it’s the same price but they are bigger and fuller
