Michael was awesome. Place is running very efficiently. Man was extremely nice, and helpful and loves his job. Rare to meet such a human, that is so friendly and out going. We were looking forward to eating here, and it was terrible. We ordered two Frisco Melt combos, and whoever made our sandwiches put a bucket of sauce on them. We didn’t ask for extra sauce, and we certainly didn’t ask for extra extra extra sauce. Neither of us could finish our meal. I hate leaving bad reviews, but the food was awful. Won’t return.

It's a sad day. My family always loved to visit Steak-,n-Shake when we visited Rome. It's not the same. It was so depressing. Not only have they taken away a lot of our favorites, like the jalapeno burger, but it is so impersonal now. They no longer have a waitress, but kiosk. You have to go to the counter, order your food, then go sit and wait till you are called to come pick up your food. Oh yeah, but it still gives you the option of giving them a tip for you tending to yourself. The fry seasoning is gone, but the prices has gone up. Just shy of $70 dollars for the five of us. We could have gone to a nice restaurant for these prices. So sorry to see this restaurant go, but alas, they have lost their appeal now.
