Absolutely loved Mac's Kitchen & Bar! It's local through and through and it absolutely feels like home. The vibes are immaculate: cozy, homey, inviting. Makes you want to spend the whole night there. The food is incredible. The flavors compliment each other so well and the menu being seasonal really helps you feel the season you're in. Would highly recommend and we will absolutely be going back.

We loved this little gem of a restaurant off Rossville Blvd. We chose the chef's special so we weren't sure what we would get. The tomato salad, carrots and lion's mane cake did not disappoint. Wonderful service from the whole crew. We will definitely be back. Perfect for date night ?

Our dinner here was excellent. We had a large variety of dishes and enjoyed all of them. The pot roast, brisket, lion’s mane cake, and cornbread were the favorites. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is deliciously cozy. This place is an absolute gem of the Rossville restaurant scene. We were all left feeling extremely impressed.

Went for 8 course tasting menu 125 a person, everything was delicious, they give you a a story too with each dish and you get to more know about the ingredients, people, and area. service was incredible best I’ve had in months. Jess, Brian (Mac), and I’m sorry I’m about to butcher your name, but Shwa? Were absolutely incredible, felt like family by end of the night. You won’t be disappointed with anything off the menu. Only 2 things I noticed, having 1 more meat focused dishes in the 8 courses would’ve been cool and the first 3 courses all took about 30-45 minutes each to come out and then the rest came flying after that. Could’ve been due to busyness but was something I noticed and wanted to keep the review honest, other than those 2. Everything is perfect and we will be back in a few months (hopefully sooner) and let the season change, thank you Chef!

My favorite thing is the Chef's Choice. It's like having a bestie prepare the most amazing meal for you of their favorite things. It can't possibly be wrong.

Food was excellent! Would say the biscuit and coffee cake we ordered was even better. Will definitely be back.
Second time eating here and it did not disappoint. My husband and I both think it's the best food in Chattanooga. The chef is amazing. The ingredients are fresh as fresh can be, and the servers are kind, knowledgeable and professional.

Everything we tried was wonderful, fresh and flavorful. The cornbread with sorghum butter could not possibly taste better! We had to order one to go as well! The brisket was perfectly cooked and had a delicious sauce. The wine list was eclectic, and we were delighted they had some dry rose and orange choices. Finally, the staff were fun and knowledgeable. Our server Kelsey was great and on point with her recommendations. We were so happy we took her suggestion and tried the paw paw pudding!!!
My husband and I have been wanting to make it to Mac's for a long time after hearing so many good things and we finally did for his birthday! The food was beyond our already high expectations! Every dish is simple in the best way, taking locally produced ingredients and elevating them in a way that made us discuss what exactly the recipe was to make it so delicious. The service was also great, and the ambience matches the food and homey organic feeling they're trying to go for. We'll be back again next to try the Sunday brunch!
We randomly happened on this place and we were so pleasantly surprised. Our server was great and the food was really good!
