Spent $75 for two taco salads and chicken + rice. Not worth it for the quality of the food. Great atmosphere, but there are better Mexican food options.

Loved the atmosphere and service, but food is quite decent or average. Spent around $75 for group of 3. Best part was the Sunday house margarita, haha. Food is average and can definitely improve.

We use to love this place. It was where we went for great service and food however, it has truly gone downhill fast. The food quality is terrible and way too expensive for what you get. The service is absolutely HORRIBLE. Most of the time the staff is seating at the bar looking at their phones and ignoring the customers. We literally have to try to flag anyone walking by to get us our server or help. If you’re seating outside you are screwed to get anyone to come out and check in you. The staff acts like the customers are an inconvenience. So sad because we love Canton Street restaurants.

I absolutely adore this place. When I'm craving ceviche or a good margarita this is where I go. I love to sit out on the patio and enjoy the fresh air and a margarita. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I just love coming here!

Just before I moved to Tennessee, this was where I had my last Georgia meal.

This was our second time dining here. The first time was exceptional about 2.5 years ago. This past visit was certainly a huge turn-off and the reason being was where we were seated, we could see inches of dust and bugs. The waitress was walking around with a bug zapper because of the amount of flying insects. ? The bathroom toilet was clogged and disgusting. I was told this always happens and it's an easy fix. So I had to use another restroom which somehow the door was locked from the outside and it took fifteen minutes for someone to gain access. I hate writing poor reviews, but this experience was less than par. At the end, before we were leaving a huge beetle walked along the edge of our table. We were done with our meals and decided never again. The place was honestly filthy. I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. I was going to snap a few pics but decided we'd never return and I'm sure they already know how dirty it is kept. We were seated at the corner table near hanging lights and the amount of dust and gnats dead on the lights was enough for me to lose my appetite. The waitress was lovely and friendly. I just know we will never return. It was a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I'd love to know what their score is based on inspection. This place needs some major work.

Parking: $10 parking across the street from the restaurant and we had to wait for someone to leave before we could park. Very limited parking.

I ordered ceviche at Ceviche and it was the worst ceviche I've had.
It was gelatinous, bland, tons of tomato, and barely any lime to speak of.

I express this first as it's my only grievance with this place. But I do want to warn folks that if you order the namesake of the restaurant - it should be delicious! It doesn't have to be perfect, but at least edible.

Service was lovely, of course. All those working in food service are working extremely hard and I appreciate our waitress as she kept up with us and her other tables perfectly.

It's just the food... Ceviche was disappointing, painfully average for the cost. Not disgusting or anything like that, just bland.

I suggest trying some of the neighbor restaurants on this block - a few of them are wonderful!

The ceviche was quite inauthentic, basically just shrimp tossed in salsa. Lacking in flavor and citrus.

Service was good, but the restaurant itself was very loud and it made it difficult to communicate.

I didn’t try anything except a margarita and the ceviche but maybe rename the restaurant to a dish you actually excel at?

Went with a party of twelve and this is the second time the service sucks! Worst place to go if you have a party of six and up? The server was kind but not ready for a large party. Drinks are much better in surrounding restaurants. Waited for food and drinks for an hour. Unacceptable!

I don’t know what happened to the comment I left during alive after 5. I came today to find the menu to order for pick up and noticed it wasn’t here. On Thursday I went to alive after 5 for the first time. I hadn’t been able to eat anything all day at work and it was 7pm when I got here. I WAS STARVING. When I arrived I realized I made a huge mistake with how packed it was. The ladies at the front greeted me nicely and I found a spot at the bar to sit at. In my head I was expecting horrible food and service because of how INSANE IT WAS IN THERE but I as too invested to turn around.

Well they proved me wrong. I believe their names were Lily and Rachel (young ladies working the bar that didn’t look past 22 lol) treated me AMAZINGLY. They were handling the bar as if they had been doing this for 40 years about to retire.

In all seriousness I was shocked because in all honesty when I saw how young they were I was also expecting them to get overwhelmed very quickly but nope. My tacos al pastor came out very quickly and I devour them and they tasted better than any other time before. I had an amazing frozen margarita and even had some nice conversation at the bar and got to network a bit as I work at an Allstate agency nearby.

I saw they were running out of pens at the bar so I was able to give them pens I had and hopefully promote us as well haha.

But I look forward to taking my coworkers here for lunch or after work as I had such an amazing experience.

I didn’t catch his name but the young guy that brought my food was very attentive too and I saw him working that floor very well. So was most of the staff. Again, I’m surprised with how such a young staff handled themselves so well in such a crazy environment. It reminded me of my young days working at a pizzeria trying to survive the rush except they handled it better haha.

I hope everyone that day gets the praise they deserve especially my new favorite bartenders!
